Not celebrating this in any way but let it be a lesson. The Grim Rickter DOES NOT sleep during the good times. You will not survive certain actions.

Mullins is still on the team the coaches and him decided to talk things out.

Just passing the info along.

I would not be surprised if CMR gives Mullins a second chance, assuming he went to the coaches hat in hand. In the end we're talking about a few frustration tweets. Its one of those things that can go either way. This could be the event that gets Mullins focused or it'll be a pit stop on the road to New Mexico State.

Heard an interview with Richt over the summer where he said he actually quit the team while a player at Miami for a short stretch, but IIRC, Howard understood that he was a young guy who made a rash decision and let him back on the team. That might have been a life-changing decision for Richt.

Well, Richt probably considers his own history when he he has to deal with stuff like this.

Honestly, I feel bad for Mullins because this is the type of decision that a young man will regret for years to come. I'm good with him doing his penance and letting him back and move on - but for pete's sake, get the **** off of Twitter

Make him play corner on the practice squad the rest of the year. Worst case scenario we learn whether he’s as good at DB as some of us thought he could be.

Hope Mullins gets his head out of his *** and comes back ready to play. He needs to talk to M Jackson, Berrios, Rosier, Langham and Mahoney about resiliency.

He's a young man that made a mistake. I get it. He wants to play, frustrated, mad, doubting himself. I don't mind him sticking around for now and let him figure things out as long as he's not disruptive to the team or himself...

I'm all for him getting a chance. I didn't make the best decisions at his age either.

Wake up call for this kid, you either work your *** off and earn playing time while getting a prestigious degree from UM or you transfer out of the town you grew up in to fizzle out at WVU or Marshall. It's sad that these kids think making it to the NFL is the only way out. Don't waste this opportunity young sir
