The last Joe Jackson sack was a fumble not a incompletion

I believe the fumble was overturned as an incomplete pass because Frenchy did not lose control off the football when Jackson hit him, but as Jackson took him to the ground. For some reason this means he was throwing the ball forward. I’ve never heard this interpretation of the rule.

The horsecollar was not called because Homer went sideways to the ground, and was not jerked backwards. Another rule nuance I have never heard.

At least the refs may have screwed FSU on the lateral. And they waved off the targeting call on Jaquan. That was huge. FSU might have driven for points and the win, and the Canes would have lost Jaquan for the game and part of next week’s game.
Agree. There were bad calls on both sides. Refs didn’t decide this game, thankfully.
