I think the reason people are calling for Richt's head is because when we hired him people wanted to believe that he would be rejuvenated, energized, and most importantly learned from the mistakes he made at UGa.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem that way. We're seeing 15 years of UGa football under Richt manifest in just 3 seasons here. The big game no shows ('16 VT, Clemson, Wisconsin, LSU), Losing to teams you have no business losing to (BC, Pitt loss ranked #2, UVa, 4-8 ND in '16), poor special teams, mismanagement at QB, offensive woes despite talent supposedly being an "offensive genius" while making 4 Million a year only to produce bad offenses and underachieving team.
Not only that, but we're starting to find out why UGa cuffed Richt as much as they did. He is a respectable man off the field but wins enough to keep him from being fired. So as a program your stuck in dilemma where you can't really fire him because he wins JUST enough to raise arms if you do but you know he isn't good enough to get you to where you really want to go (playoffs).
