The JoJo thread

Wide Receiver is a position for workaholics.
To keep that speed and suddenness requires a degree of persistence that is rare.
Hand placement, focus, coordination. Fitness, blocking, etc
Playbook, rout tree, communication, IQ, blocking.

Offensive positions have a higher bust rate than defensive players.

Jojo has Malachi on his team and defensive players on the team that fit that workaholic mentality and their production shows.
If he can’t embrace that then I don’t see him contributing because he will get passed over. They just got 2 guys from the portal and one was originally at JUCO.
Some of these guys that weren’t highly rated come in with more than just a chip on their shoulders.

I don’t know what the issue has been with him.

People swear by his talent but if it isn't there on game day then it’s time to give someone else a chance.

He better get right mentally, physically, and emotionally, because this off season is gonna be extremely competitive at that position.

I have my doubts because he’s had a an entire season to be present. If he hasn’t had that light bulb click by now, after the gauntlet we just went through and the stage that is set for a title; then idk what it’s gonna take for him to stay on this team.
Flo had a good point on his show today. He said he’s never really seen Jojo drop balls in practice, but he’s had a couple in games. I think Jojo is just in his own head. The dude is a killer though, especially when it comes to blocking. He had a couple of pancakes in the Ole miss game. I’m not counting this kid out yet. He absolutely loves Miami, and I think he understands the assignment

jojo transfering right? we got 2 cats in better than him, clearly he sees the writting
Only desperate teams are gonna pay him. And where is he gonna go where they have a qb to throw him the ball?

SMU?
Does Lashlee want to pay him wr1 or 2 money?
FSU might pay him but they got a nobody at qb and no oline. And deuce is wr1 there.

He hasn’t shown the production for top p4 teams to pay him. Smu might take him cause the Sofla kids will vouch for his talent the same way people on here say he’s an elite college receiver based on high school and green tree status. But he ain’t getting anything close to top dollar.
Jojo is our version of Jaylen Brown without the speed.

If you’re on this team, at wide receiver, and a light hasn’t clicked on by now then the excuse basket is totally full and overflowing.

He’s on the perfect team to work and show that he can be an nfl wide receiver and the team he’s on is doing it at the highest level and on the biggest stage.

When has the player been better than the situation the university of Miami is in right now? This is the perfect opportunity to display and develop your talent. Adapt or move on.

Yup. And it's not like this is a rare thing. He's had several blatant drops this season. You could even tell by the sideline's reaction last night that this is something they're used to seeing.
His drop that turned into a game changing int against smu is what i think of.

1000% spot on

And on top of that these habits we’re built very early on and it doesn’t have to be just about being a receiver or even about football. Toney was a qb for alot of his time before high school but you can see he has a different level of attention to detail and dedication built into his game

All that talent **** is good to hear when they are a recruit or a freshmen/sophomore that flashed, what has this kid shown for people to still swear by his talent?

I think he can still become a solid player but the 5star expectation should be done now
