saw van halen 1981 and 82 +/- at the Sportatorium. Paid $20 for seats 50 feet away. roth came in on a high wire to start the show. it was electric. both eddie and alex got 10-15 solos.

I was there too but my seats weren’t nearly as good. Great show tho

we got our tickets by making the line at Specs on US 1 next to the Miracle Theatre, both of which are gone.

I don´t recall how we got such good tickets because we were broke as ****e. anyways, it was an extraordinary concert. we drove from miami down 8th Street and turned right (north) at Krome Ave and parked on the side of the road as soon as we saw the cars parked alongside the road, walked about a half mile until we reached the Sportatorium. Concert t shirts were like $10.

Those were the days of BASS outlets. It was a crap shoot as far as seats. I was friends with a guy who worked at a record store in Tequesta and he had third row seats pulled up for us for the Kiss concert and they were gone before he could complete the transaction. We ended up about 10 rows back.
