The JoJo thread

It’s hard to judge Lofton. They have him blocking 98% of the time.

Aside from Arroyo, whom blocked a ton as well, he’s the only TE under Dawson/Mario that has gotten passes thrown his way. We were complaining last year as well that we weren’t utilizing the TEs in the passing game.

This is going to bite us in the a$$ again this year when teams finally figure out they need to bracket Toney. Releasing TEs into the pattern will be crucial, and so will a guy like JoJo--high or sober.

I think it is also fair to say that even if they are doing everything correctly on or off the field, there are guys not getting any chances.

It’s been Malachi, CJ and Marion and that’s it!!!

No more Josh Moore, No Jojo, very little to none of Tony Johnson, no Ray Ray, etc, etc.

3 ******* receivers!! 2 tight ends who are there 2 block. All 5 mostly play in a bunched up concept, bringing every other defender into the sand box with them.

Tell me the difference between Miami and Ohio State?

We have played one less game than them so assume 20 more completions and 250 more yards for us in that missing game and the difference is OSU at 163 for 1958 yds vs Miami at 157 for 1842 yds.

How many WR/TEs are getting touches on Ohio State?

There is no difference - the only difference is our dumbass fans complain about EVERYTHING

The difference is OSU has two first round WRs with one being top 5. Toney is elite but not top 5. CJ is good but not day 1.

I don't know what JoJo did or didn't do, but he ain't been on a police blotter, so IDGAF really.

I don't GAF about the holier-than-thou culture crap, because it's a ticket to nowhere if a guy that can help you win ain't on the field.

Now, if he just isn't good enough, or can't learn the routes, etc., that's different, but if that ain't the problem, nothing is more dramalicious than losing games.

If we didn’t prioritize a literal thoroughbred racehorse at TE why would we prioritize a fullback?

Not you of course but I genuinely feel bad for people that think things on offense will suddenly change

Going into Louisville we were 15-2 in our last 17 regular season games and people think one game is gonna make Mario Cristobal of all people start asking for wholesale changes

Bless their hearts really

The point was if you research the top 10 teams (I just used Ohio St since they are #1) they all have 2 maybe 3 guys that catch balls and the rest don't do **** yet our fanbase is constantly whining about other guys on the bench not playing.

The difference is talent of that one wr and the fact that wr (Smith) cant' be bracketed much if at all because they have 3 other wrs that would go nuts and are better than any thing we have behind Mali. OSU also has a much better play caller and over all offensive scheme.

You moved the goalposts and missed the point.

The poster was complaining about only 3 WRs getting playing time and touches - and my point was that is the case at virtually every single top 10 team.
