The JoJo thread

That’s between him and the coaches. We just had jacolby george who was said to be real immature and he actually showed his on the field too. Nobody threw him away and he didn’t do much his first 2 years. Year 3 he goes over 800 yards and 8tds
Agreed. But NIL plays a role here, too.

Not specific to Jo Jo and 100% a coach's problem -- but we need to stop hearing about these "hostage" situations and then getting **** impact on the field. May just be a new norm and nature of the beast of the sport.

Mario and Dawson are hurting the team. The run blocking is hurting the team. Sir pick a lot is hurting the team. So why choose to just jump on a 19-20 year old kid for his mistakes?
Because Dawson looks like a genius and Beck looks like a baller if JoJo catches that ball and houses it against SMU instead of it being 6 the other way tightening a game that hadn’t been close to that point.

Against Syracuse we were aggressive and he kept dropping the ball or not running his routes and that’s on him, not Beck or Dawson. The first two drives we did some **** but Syracuse had us a lil confused with the blitz calls. Still Beck put two throws out to JoJo where his effort impacted the success of the play. The third drive where he dropped the ball was your classic run run pass series of calls we all have been complaining about but JoJo still dropped a ball that would have been a big play if he catches it.

It is a team sport and when a member of the team ***** up 3 straight times it makes it hard for the others to look good.

Watch it live sir. The DBs wasn’t going to wait for him to land And make a move. If beck would have waited another second and allowed him to cross the safety a lil more he could’ve threw out in front of him and he likely scores
I watched it live. Jojo did not jump 2 feet in the air, he jumped a few inches barely breaking his stride. The safety was flat footed af, if JoJo catches with his hands he has about 2-3 steps to make a move and that’s all an elite playmaker needs to make a play.

Theres so many guys I can name that’s probably turning that play into a TD.

I couldn’t have said it any better myself. It’s like when @DMoney is always mentioning all the single-handed patches he had in spring at practice, I just wanna tell him, that crap doesn’t mean anything when it comes to a wide receiver. I would much prefer to hear he’s catching the ball with two hands consistently throughout practice with proper technique. It’s as clear as day as day that jojo is tuned out and it’s best if he moves on in the portal after the season. I hope he matures and reaches his talent somewhere.
When @DMoney said that about him constantly doing 1 handed catches, I knew that was going to be a problem.

I legit don’t even know why the staff would allow that. That’s also why you need a strong QB, who would shut that **** down asap. “You keep going up with 1 handed catches you won’t have a ball thrown your way”… put an end to that **** quick. Does he hit the jugs just constantly trying to use 1 handed catches too? SMH.

Baker Mayfield told Emeka Egbuka after a phenomenal one hander in game not to disrespect his ball, it was caught on film. I recall he looked like he was kinda joking but not really.

If only they aged while in bottles waiting on a Miami championship would be a goldmine

JoJo has 100 yds receiving on the year

Which number will end up higher?

He doesn't suck all the time and he isn't good all of the time (most of the time?) He could be very good if he knew wtf he was doing on the field or cared enough to learn wtf he should do on the field. Probably not going to be on our team, but I think one day he figures out what he needs to complete to get to the NFL. Then again, it isn't talent that's holding him back so maybe I'm just hopeful for him.

I respect a lot of posters on here, with that being said imma stop letting their opinions on certain prospects stop me from going with my gut. I be watching that film and that shii ahh 😂😂😂

There’s an Eminem doc about his obsessed Stans on Paramount Plus right now. Called Stan. There’s a lot of weird people out there. One chick is in the Guinness Book of World Records for having the most tattoos of one person on her; she has dozens of Eminem tattoos on her body. Creepy ****.

Hey @JHallCanes please recommend a moderately-priced, but new bourbon for me to put on my Christmas list. Something I can sip on, but also put in an Old Fashioned. I’ve had all the usual suspects. Thank you, kind sir.

What would you consider moderately priced?

Some people’s moderately priced is another person’s expensive. Example, $60-70 is what I would pay for a quality bourbon and consider that moderately priced. Others may think $40 is moderately priced.

Also, I’ve noticed huge price swings depending on state or even particular stores will be $20 more because they feel they can get away with it.
