Comes down to evaluations when paying players. If paying top dollar kid should be able to get on field. That said if there are issues & force it you have no standards & risk losing the team.

In this case, JoJo was a starter. He was a starter in spring and a starter day one of the Notre Dame game.

When you’re paying a player like JoJo, the kind of money that we are paying, it makes no sense not to play him. The day that he was healthy, he needed to get back out there.

So the coaching staff who has accountability issues (agree in part) is now going heavy handed in one instance? For what reasons?

I’ve heard a few unsubstantiated yet viable rumors. All of them circling the thought process of this being the most competitive WR room we’ve had in years and a couple guys not doing what they are supposed to do on and particularly off the field.

I believe this. If anyone on this team is doing what’s necessary and expected they will play if they can contribute. That tells me enough.

Also do not let anyone change the narrative at Week 9 - all 2024 bowl season practice, all spring practice, all summer workouts Jojo was the guy. Gets “nicked up” in Fall camp and now we are hours away from November and he can’t see the field??

3. Jojo broke NCAA rules [ ] and cannot play.
4. Jojo is fine, ready, willing, able but Mario hates him.

Number 1 is unlikely as he played in the ND game and reportedly had an ankle sprain. Number 2 has been rumored for weeks. Number three would require that there be actual NCAA rules. Number 4 would suggest that Mario does not care about winning and getting raises for things like championships, playoffs and bowl games. I know which one I think it is and how immature people tend to respond........................
