(The) Indiana (Game)

I will say they are smaller on the defensive front but they make up for it being very disciplined. We can't run the dumb wildcat and gadget plays on them or they will eat us up. Also they are very good open field tackling those tunnel screens won't give us much if we try to go to those a lot. I am a little nervous about our front Ole miss did some movements a few series up front where they were able to get home with only 4 rushers multiple times and Indiana is very good moving things around to get a free man running. Oline will need to play one of the best games they ever have. Mendoza is just confident throwing the ball whwre he gives his receiver an opportunity to catch the ball hard to beat guys who place it the way he does. Gotta push the oline into his lap to get his rhythm off a tad and for the love of God don't let him run all over you. Heatherman working with Cig in the past is interesting and Mario having played Mendoza last year. Should be a fun game though man. Just happy it's none of the usual **** teams.

Handed them 21?
They took 21 because they made the play but

-Pick 6 literally the first play of the game
-RPO where the ball the ball grazes the rb as moore is winding up to throw it. 14-7 turns into 21-7.
-Another fumble where moore loses the ball before touches but this was gonna be a sack fumble probably. 28-7 to 35-7
-Then a blocked punt when it was late

Forcing turnovers and turnover luck is apart of winning a game and championship but yea this game was decided very early

We will need a good gameplan. I doubt the tunnels work in this one. Certainly no gadget plays.
They can be had on the outside and with some creative runs.
Beck will need to be on point and the DBs are in for a **** of a night

Ppl on socials pretending Indianas offense is generational and Mendoza is prime Marino has been ******* bizzare tonight.

**** is so weird.

Wait a minute, wasn’t Ole Miss offense supposed to be the 2026 version of the greatest show on turf?

I tell ya, the tall tales get taller every round! We keep hearing how good everybody else is and how no one trusts Carson Beck…Love it!!!

Spot the ball dawg.

He's just a good guy, goofy, and proof they exist. He's super detail orientated, literally thinks of everything, etc. Kind of reminds me still of a kid who is just enjoying life, every moment, and to me it's admirable. He's essentially Ken Dorsey in a lot of ways and is stone cold calm out there.

He throws darts, was good last year, but **** what an improvement this year. He's going to have an amazing NFL career and I hope he keeps that full of wonder attitude. We all lose it at some point.

Make him uncomfortable and his mind will wander. He tries to control every situation, preps for it, so get him off his game.
Analytical math major. SMART.

The Ole Miss O is superior to Indiana's. Also, in the CFP, we faced the number 1 WR corps (OSU), the number 2 WR corps (TAMU) and the number 1 O in Ole Miss. We've been tested. Indiana played one tough game all year and barely won 13-10 based on a chip shot kick going wide by the *'s.

As long as the boys have the focus they had in the OSU game, we will win.
Yep so we have a common opponent. We beat the same opponent on a neutral field by 10 that they beat by 3 in Indiana. We're at home and we'll be the toughest team they've faced all year.

Agree. None that cute Malicat stuff. They will be all over it.

We may need more heavy fronts to run the ball in this game.

Those tall WR / TE will be a challenge for sure. Mendoza just puts it up in their direction and they have such big catch radius' they go get it.

Need to get him off his spot

I'm just not entirely convinced of this yet. In fact, I really think that the Big10 in the regular season and playoff has been entirely untested.

Oregon, best win? @Iowa?
Oregon playoff was a joke--JMU and TT.

Indiana best win? OSU in the BTCG?
Indiana housed a historically awful Alabama team (who should not have been in the playoff to begin with) and Oregon, whom I am already saying is a joke.

Color me unimpressed. These schedules are softer than baby ****. Committee certainly got us right, Ole Miss right; but they whiffed on the pecking order overall and then the inclusion of some teams (specifically Alabama, Oklahoma, JMU, Tulane).

Got Canes fans here seeing Indiana teabag an awful Oregon team and think we are on the same plane as Oregon. Its why most of you would have rather seen Oregon win tonight--because they are trash and *** and we knew that we would have BTA them. Indiana will be a challenge but kill this talk about how they are just unbeatable and that they'll run it up on us.

I said the same thing. Before we crown teams let’s do a little bit of digging first.

1. I hadn’t looked at Ole Miss’ schedule closely until the day of the game and I realized that their offense would sputter at times and teams wouldn’t take advantage of their defense.

2. The best offense Ole Miss played prior to us was Georgia and their offense is meh. The best QB they faced was Mateer and he was hurt. Then they gave up 262 yards rushing to Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl.

3. Looking at Oregon last in the Orange Bowl, they struggled mightily against Texas Tech’s defense. But, I knew Texas Tech would struggle against good teams, because of QB play.

4. I just don’t believe in Indiana like that. I think they are very solid though. Four of the playoff games were rematches (OU-Alabama; Tulane-Ole Miss; UGA-Ole Miss; Oregon-Indiana) and for that there’s not a ton of “new” game planning going on.

5. We’ve been through the gauntlet and seen IT ALL…Let the media and everyone spend the week moving the goal posts once again. We shall see how it goes down.

Spot the ball dawg.

First, we can start with eliminating all of the ******* waivers out there for 6,7 years.

Hopefully this is the last year of that with the Covid **** over but the JUCO stuff also has to end with not counting their 2 years anymore.
With Chambliss being denied a 6th year, it seems that the days of these older players are dwindling fast. It’ll still be a portal game, but that extra COVID year is done.

I’ll have lots of thoughts. I would have Indiana -4 if I was Vegas. But I would bet Miami ml. Indiana is the best team in the country at beating other teams who make mistakes. They don’t let other teams breathe when they mess up. At home I don’t have that fear. I got Miami 24-17
And IU doesn’t make their own mistakes. This game will be dominated by TO’s. And if the TO’s are even in our favor, I think Miami pulls it off as well.

So now that it looks like Indiana is prob the team we are facing what is the gameplan? OSU gameplan?

You have to stop the run. OSU, Penn st, Iowa blueprint.

Also they cheat, I just can’t prove it yet. Brick Schott is about to tell the our entire playbook.

Disney can’t wait to make a movie about it.

This would be the greatest run ever to win a championship if Miami can do it. All odd against them.

Miami has to win the turnover battle which will be hard cause Mendoza doesn’t throw picks.

Miami can’t have penalties.

Miami has to play a perfect game and catch some lucky bounces
