The Greatest Day EVER !

This is a very mean thing to say, Ernie.

Bert would be highly disappointed.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I met a girl who sang the blues
And I asked her for some happy news
But she just smiled and turned away
I went down to the sacred store
Where I'd heard the music years before
But the man there said the music wouldn't play
And in the streets, the children screamed
The lovers cried, and the poets dreamed
But not a word was spoken
The church bells all were broken
And the men I admire most
The Father, Son, Bert, and the Holy Ghost
They caught the last train for the coast
The day the Hurricanes died
And they were singing
The Mob will never quit, they cry over every bit
Schnellenberger and Johnson prayed that this unholy group would dissolve
But no such thing would evolve
They will continue till it's all gone
The day the Hurricanes died...
What part of 7 years position experience are you not understanding? That is over 7x the amount of experience that Patke has as a position coach. The guy is also nasty on the trail at recruiting. How can you compare a guy with 7 years as a position coach who kills it on the trail to Patke who has not signed any recruits yet and has not even had a full season as the position coach? Does he have play calling experience? No, but he still has way more experience than Patke and Saban obviously thought his recruiting skills outweighed the negatives(especially when you have another DC who can call the plays and he sticks to recruiting until he gets settled).
The DC from SA is exactly the type of DC I would have been fine with hiring. The guy killed it at the D2 level, FCS, and FBS G5 level. The next step is the P5. I would have been ecstatic if Richt hired some young DC who has been doing great at smaller schools for the past 10 years. No one laughed at Saban when he made those hires. The whole CFB world is laughing at Mork right now.
You obviously know nothing about either one of these DCs and by taking a quick glance you thought it would support your argument. Stop back pedaling, take your L, and move on.
So which part of your argument increases the amount of defensive coordinator experience at a high level either one has?
Patke may be inexperienced but Diaz thought enough of him to bring him along from Louisiana Tech, to Mississippi State to here didn't he?
The bottom line is you don't know dik about what Patke can and can't do. You have no idea if he's the wunderkind behind Manny's defense or a lazy hire. But you've already written him off as just some guy who played at a nothing school. And while you laud Saban for seeing past the inexperience of his hire you rip Richt for perhaps doing the same exact thing.
At the end, the part that annoys me about you and the dumpster fire gang is the absolute certainity in which you know they won't succeed when you have ZERO clue.
One was a DC at Texas San Antonio for two years, the other went from analyst at Alabama in 2014 to DC in 2016. Before that he had zero DC experience.
Is there that much of a difference between these two and Patke and Banda?
Stop it! You’re making too much sense! Alabama didn’t go after some top flight assistant coach like half the guys on this board want?
No sense arguing with that clown. He chases my post with his foolishness and make stuff up too! The guy is the biggest troll on this board. I’m begining to think he’s retarded or just an 8 year old.
Well one guy has 9 more years of DC experience than Banda and Patke combined. The other guy has more years experience as a position coach than Banda and Patke have combined. So your experience argument is straight BS. Take your L and keep moving. You are making yourself look dumber and dumber each porst.
If he was the wonderkid behind Diazs defense than Diaz would have gave him a bigger responsibility than coaching 4 kids on the defense.
You know what annoys me about the slurper crew? No matter how bad a decision Mork makes. The slurpers will make do ridiculous mental gymnastics to try and justify like you are doing now. You are trying to compare a 1 year position coach and a 3 year position coach to a guy who has 7 years position coach and 10 years DC experience. LMFAO. Hilarious.
The sad truth is if Coach Richt reincarnated Bill Arnsparger and Buddy Ryan and appointed them co-defensive coordinators the Mob members would cook up things to criticize the hires, and bash Richt.
Amen, how their minds work is the complete opposite of rational. Just blind faith
It’s like a guy on a boat. I giant storm is coming but he says “god will take care of me” and stays on the water. And then dies from the storm
It's irrelevant when the HC is one of the greatest defensive minds of all time. This essentially makes Saban the de-facto DC for any team that he coaches. Not exactly an apples for apples comparison..
Patke might be the greatest coaching mind since Belichek. He's still unqualified for a DC position at a P5 program in 2019.
