The good, the bad and the ugly(season one under Diaz)

I CHECKED OUT LAST WEEK.

ONLY WAY HE SAVES HIS JOB IS IF HE LETS A BUNCH OF GUYS GO HONESTLY AND SHAKE HIS STAFF UP....ALOT...ALOT OF DEAD WEIGHT ON STAFF.

HE HAS TO I MEAN HAS TO RIGHT AWAY FIRE HIS OC.

I went to casino to pick up free bottle of Jack on Friday because didn’t want to drink anything I paid money for during the game. Then I didn’t bother to watch the game — rainy season is just a six moths or so away I I figure to drink the Jack watch the grass grow instead. Have I checked out?

Like they said in 'Boomerang' - this is worse than when the Fat Boys broke up

Honestly, Ive been through some bad/disappointing seasons, but this year, was different. It felt hopeless.

Diaz ain't the guy
The Fat Boys broke up?

Aw man. That sucks.

If Gogeta4 is not hired to help with recruiting I might have to give up on the Canes.

"hey, I actually enjoyed that first album of theirs(whoever sung it)"

I think I would have been better off not knowing this tiny factoid about you. lol Your taste in music notwithstanding, I agree with you. It's time to blow up the entire thing and start over.

Nothing will change if there are no changes.

Diaz at minimum needs to replace Enos, Barry, Stubblefield on offense, Baker on defense. Patke should be taken off special teams and ST coach hired. I’d replace everyone, but then fire Diaz as well. And I’m cool with this too.
I expect all of this. I'd be shocked if those guys returned.

OK, Im going to preface this by saying I will ALWAYS be a die-hard Miami football fan, bottom line, nothing is ever going to change that. But I have to be honest -- this season was a Diazster, call FEMA.

There's no other way to say it, this guy and his staff is/was a fraud. All sizzle, no steak.

A fraud, Milli Vanilli had more validity to me, hey, I actually enjoyed that first album of theirs(whoever sung it)

Inept is too soft a term. Incompetent, too nice of a word.

And till significant changes are made, sorry, Im not going to any more games(home or away), sorry, can't do it, wont do it. I've had enough. I'll watch every **** game till the bitter end, but I can't in good conscience keep doing this to myself and support this. Yeah, take away my Superfan card, go ahead.

But looking back at this season, THE GOOD: Greg Rosseau and the Dline dominating at times, the steadiness of KJ Osborne, Bobby Knowles developing into a solid player, Murphy, Hedley, beating FSU for the 3rd straight year(hey, after losing 7 consecutively, I'll take this)

THE BAD: 4TH AD 17th at UNC, the Oline, the kicking game

THE UGLY: where do we start? Losses at home to Vatech, Gatech, losing to FIU, Duke, 6-6 vs the softest schedule in the country, Diaz not cutting out the sideline gimmicks, hanging on versus CMU, seriously, I can go on

But year one is in the books for Manny. He gave us a fun, energetic off-season... and the perhaps the worst year I can remember as a fan(yeah, based on the circumstances this is much worse than 1997). And I dont see it getting any better to be honest

As Brian Billick one said -- it's time to blow this whole thing up.

We suck

Anyways, it's great to be a Miami Hurricane....
Answer to your musical question: Charles Shaw and Brad Howell

I chose Pittsburgh as the one roader to attend, and we pulled out the game late. That was the good. Victory always cleanses the remainder of the trip.

Ugly was losing to Florida. That stains for years and years.

I don't have unreasonable expectations so the rest of the season was disappointing but nothing below that.

Wisconsin physically pushed us around in the finale of two consecutive seasons. That was reality. That is the status of this program. Wisconsin won 35-3 while rushing for 333 yards and controlling the clock for 40 minutes. The problem here is that you guys actually pay attention to the offseason and therefore lose track of reality. Suddenly we're the Canes again instead of that sad sack of flailing mediocrities that Wisconsin is toying with.

Saban goes 9-3 at worst with this roster and this schedule. In fact, 3 losses was the worst case scenario for any competent coaching staff.
This roster is equivalent..tbh probably worse to what he had his first season at bama..he lost to UL MONROE..once again we overrate the talent on this roster..even by recruiting rankings the talent is very similar

well, they did a helluva job, anyways they can be our OC and DC in 2020?
LOL.... they would call a better game than Enos. That's for **** sure. But wait. Duke was a bad matchup for us according to Eno's so the loss is jutstifiable.

And the funny thing is Enos was atrocious as a quarterback at Michigan State. Turnover machine. If you can't play then coach. If you can't coach then coordinate. The fallacy that this dude was some type of quarterback whisperer is un ******* believeable.

Well, Saban has a large "Rolodex" so he would bring in competent assistants. You think he walks into Orlando playing two freshmen at tackle versus a very good Florida defense? That was just pure arrogance and incompetence and you got your freshman quarterback almost killed. It was downright criminal.
