Agree. They aren't scared, but they aren't stupid either. They know that Miami with a good coach is going to be a pain in the @ss at the very least. As I said in another thread, guys like saban didn't get where they are by waiting for a problem to develop, they head that sh*t off before it gets going.

correct, we are playing in the big leagues after being absent for 20 years. the last thing Bama, &UGA want is Miami to be a power on the national stage. also do not want to lose their foothold in Fla....its a cutthroat business 365 days a year ...

I mean even if it's true that they're concerned about Mario's recruiting--so what? So far they're still winning. They're basically telling Mario we'll come into your backyard and take whatever we want, including your coaches, and there isn't a **** thing you can do about it. How is this a positive for us?

This is the first time we've had the budget to afford coaches that big time programs are interested in. Money can afford talent and Mario has money.

I do agree that Saban and Kirby both understand just how important S. Florida is to their success and want to make sure that they keep a stake in the ground. They know that Mario has no intention on letting even one uber talented kid out of S.Florida. And he's a good enough recruiter to just about make good on that.

TRob is going to be a pain in the ***.

I suppose it's a compliment to have coaches recruited and signed by other teams. But it's always the lateral move that makes me the most irritated. Our OL coach is heading back to the NFL by mutual agreement given our OL problems last season and was replaced today with the OL coach from Kentucky. All head coaches better have a long list of guys stuffed in their desk somewhere cause these guys leaving and coming is a never-ending trail.
