Yup the last two classes prior to Cantwells class have stunk. Too many projects! We need to spend money on the oline and get dudes! Period! Cause we ain’t doing a great job developing guys. Don’t tell me we developed Pancake! He already had size, strength and athleticism. Just needed to trim up and catch up to the speed of the game since he played lil Timmies up north. That just comes with reps against two first round guys and other 5 stars. His sophomore year he got hurt or he would have been on the field. Letting that OT Folorunshu or whatever his name was go to ND was not smart and now we lost out on both him and sweet boy (pause) from STA. We may still have trouble on the interior line depending on where Congdon plays.

Giving opinions & questioning coaching decisions is literally the main point of message boards.
Tough sledding attacking Cristobal/Mirabal about OL development/recruiting but I like the boldness. (He’s also not completely wrong) Mistakes were made. /we’ll be ok
It was tough watching the Dolphins OL after Saturday, so I decompressed by watching clips of our commits. Some major takeaways- Joel Irvin is abusive, Jackson Cantwell has dynamite in his hands, Canon Pickett is an athlete in a guard's body, Ben Congdon is a lean, athletic mover at 6'7, Rhys Woodrow looks like a true center and JJ Sparks is a phone-booth guy.

I want to see more of Scroggins at OG vs CMU. Can he develop into a starter?
He's a walk-on right? We don't have better options? He's listed at like 275.
He looks bigger than SJ and did well vs FAMU. Yes, we better have options ahead of him but he is in year 2 of 5.

With all due respect to FAMU, a historical program in its own right, playing well against the Rattlers means nothing.
Which is why I said, I want to see how he does vs FAMU. Is he a G5 kid? It's a projection for 2028-29. Our starting center was in the same boat if you ask me.

OK mistake were made, how many sacks are Miami hurricane gave up so far? It's a work in progress, same as Ohio state and others yall standards are set too high. Cause you made a chip last year. Trust the process.

At Wake, According to HUDL data 21 of 34 passes were 5 yards or less. Someone ported a tweet in another thread with the data. We just got the ball out quick.
The corches aren’t infallible or above criticism. It’s ok to talk about what our eyes see. Sometimes it’s actually right.

The standard is the standard. I promise mine (or others) aren't higher than the staffs. Trust the process? Lol. It ain't that serious bud. Miami mismanaged the portal, some recruiting & have left ourself on the outside looking in to what could've been another NC run. Stuff happens but acting like there isn't blame is disingenuous.
0 sacks (if so) doesn't mean good OL play. It's been mostly bad & at times, sub-par. Fixable? Possibly but probably not completely.

I try to watch as many ACC games as possible to scope our main opps. Every game I watched in ACC play had better interior OL play than us. Coupled with the injuries this has lower my expectations for this season. Hopefully we can at least finally win the ACC.

Word. And anyone whos crapping on the O line calm down. The staff should have gone to the portal for experience. We have young guys who take time to develop in most cases with lineman not everyone is SiSi. That’s what made him special. Williams is a stud coming in Congdon and Cantwell are gonna be studs. Irvin is a big boy. Samson has played well. Maybe we need a right tackle in the portal. But this class and 27 class looks good.
