The FSU loss

And they beat us 4 times this year... Need to schedule them last until otherwise...
The FSU loss, where our offense was an abomination, caused our offense to continue to eat *****? Let's go with that!

its the story espn tells so posters just repeat it. we lost because we suck, not because fsu beat us. just so happens we played real teams starting with fsu.

Yep. I'm really sick of this narrative. Gives FSU way more credit than deserved.

and same **** in 2014. they act like vt isnt the best team in the ACC year in and out. in 7 of the last 12 seasons theyve won 10 games. no other team has done that.

It's not even on the spectrum of worst losses in UM history.

Wrong. UM was in the top 10 and the highest ranked team in the state. Had a huge opportunity to build momentum going into the stretch run of the ACC for the first time since 2005. Stay in the national news cycle. And UM lost at home to FSU for the seventh straight time in a row. Horrendous, unacceptable loss.

Yeah, the loss was EPIC. Back to ESPN 3 for us.

eh, its just a game. One day we'll all be rotting in a grave and none of this will matter anymore.

The UVA game at the OB was an abomination, but it was already established that Miami sucked that season. We weren't playing for anything at that point.

We had an opportunity to really get back on the national scene and build huge support for the canes this season. Then we saw what UGA fans have been dealing with against the Gators for the last fifteen years.

This is a football message board, not Richt's Sunday School Class.

We lose after FSU because we aren't good. FSU has nothing to do with it.

I love guys who say a loss is a loss, no game is more important than the other. Richt 101.
If a loss to anyone causes you to lose to everyone after that, then just fold the program. Yes, FSU is a very important game, and the loss hurts. But, that doesn't cause you to lose to other people. It's a cheap excuse for being a poor team.

"Wrong."

This collapse **** is a myth. Fsu is usually always played early in the season after miami gets a few wins vs weak teams. Fans start hyping the team up but then they start playing actual teams.

Look at the schedule before and after fsu games. If they beat fsu they still would have likely lost to unc and vt because this offense has been horrible.

QP will defend Richt by any means necessary.

Absolutely. Because, "This is not one of the worst losses in UM history" is a sterling defense of the man.

Richt has almost single handedly cost us 3 games.

How much more of my blind positivity can you handle.

See you at 2:30pm for the Virginia game. You gonna stick around for the McNeese St v Southern Illinois game after?

Great point, the team collapses every year after FSU. Schedule them last every year!

And they beat us 4 times this year... Need to schedule them last until otherwise...

My friend and I have been discussing this. They play UF last so we schedule them second to last and either FAU or FAMU right after them that way we can pick ourselves up if they beat us.

Was a bad loss but come on, that is a mightly long list of "worst loss" in the last decade and a half and I dont think this one makes that list. UVA to close out the OB? Shannon loss to lowly USF? Golden loss to Duke? Clemson 58-0? That OU game in Shannon's first year? 45-17 at home to FSU which basically jumped started their recent run? Golden opening up with a L against a Maryland team that ended up with 2 wins all year (Miami and Towson) and they basically ran one play the entire game.
