The Foreclosure (7/12)

They caping for Manny Diaz now 😂😂…. down bad on here
manny was bad, but so far, we arent much better off than where we were with him in terms of w/ls.

the biggest issue is now retention. were losing a lot of highly ranked kids off those previously high classes mario brought in and a HUGE bust rate on them on top of that.

man i cant see us going on a playoff run with a worse QB than last year with a tougher schedule. id be shocked at least.
So by your logic we are never getting to the playoffs, because we are never going to find someone that is as good or better than Cam Ward. Well, at least that is one less thing I need to concern myself with........
Schedule may be tougher, but the ND game means little to nothing in the grand scheme of making the playoffs for us.

Manny Diazs culture here was vomit worthy, we are in a much better shape as a football program moving forward

culture comes from winning not anything else. if you start losing, it all dies.

we have kids getting into random **** here too (but it was just swept under the rug thanks to marios personal connects) and had issues across the program coaching staff and admin staff all of whom mario hired. it isnt much better than it was tbh. its just more expensive now

the ACC isnt getting the benefit of the doubt.

if we dont win the ACCCG, we need to beat UF and ND to have an at large shot. otherwise, back to the pop tarts bowl

I was once out one night n saw a slew of Manny players turning up having a good ol time , I wasn’t in the least surprised when we took the L the very next day 🤷🏾‍♂️

bro once the insiders give us permission to out all the BS that went on here under mario with some kids, youll see it isnt much different. we are a slightly better place but it isnt 8-10 mill per season better.

they will never dump in these resources if he fails. thats my concern.
All jokes aside, and I can’t stress it enough, we need Mario to succeed. Take that information however you want.

I believe he will be successful here and bring championship(s). Much like his coach searches, it’ll be at his painfully pace.

Flo had an interesting conversation last night on his Sunday YouTube show. He said there is a disconnect currently with the tri-county programs that is in large part attributable to the departure of some guys in either analyst roles or GA roles or other staff this spring. He says he can point to at least 5 guys in particular that left who had deep and established ties to the local schools- their replacements don’t come in with the same kind of relationships. It’s definitely affected a few recruitments.

The question is why? Did Mario fill the spots with guys whose strength was more national
Recruiting or did he simply not find the right people to step into those spots? Or perhaps it’s just a matter of time to get them established.

Seems like a valid point. Apparently Streeter {Footballville} had a show over the weekend also and talked about this issue and some other things locally that are affecting so fla recruiting. Flo said Streeter stopped short of calling people out but he was pretty honest about what he hears/knows.
Miami can’t recover from losing Cooney?

Half the culture battle is bringing in kids who are all about football and being great. the other half is setting that standard while they’re here, manny clearly disregarded the second part

JFC y'all are some debbie downer *** MF with too much time on ya hands during summer.
take a vacation to the Greek isles or Formentera (or Ibiza if y'all got so much energy on here)

the latest slew of recruits not falling are way has very little significance IMO. nothing fundamentally changes the mission upcoming:

- win 10 games (with either both wins vs ND/UF or split and an ACC CG berth) and get your *** in the Playoff

period. from there you keep building this ****. we have some great pieces on the roster and some other great ones (Cantwell chiefly) to come in.

10 wins (+ CFP berth) and a helluva lot of momentum, and we keep moving. fill in the holes in the roster via the Portal and that's all we can do.

Let's remember, the heyday of the program (80s/early 90s) to CURRENT HS kids feels like what the 1960s (!) felt to me (I'm early 30s) growing up.... which is to say that these kids don't give a f about this brand and this here U.
that's fine. we play the advantages we currently hold - our location / talent hotbed, and thank f'n God NIL.

Keep building- rest of this stuff is just noise 👉😉👈

Wrong, winning is the result of a well established culture.
