How do you know? I don’t but I’m curious if it’s been said that we were outbid by them at DT and WR by an insider type here???Maybe. But maybe not on the dline and receivers.

Billy is a likable guy (and I believe a good guy) and though we all love a Billy in a locker gif the man is able to relate to people. He is not Prison Mike.We haven’t out-recruited UiF. At best it’s a push rankings wise though they have a slight edge in recruit ranking the last 3 years
I’d never in a million years take Billy Napier over Mario but they’ve still recruited well despite his glaring faults
We’re recruiting against a guy who went 13-0 and had a 2 year advantage on Mario and was allegedly on bamas short list of hires not my words that’s what was reported.I’m specifically referring to labeling being the top recruiter in the state a “major accomplishment”. We ain’t recruiting against the FSU of 15 years ago. In Mario’s 4 recruiting classes, Prison Mike has had one class finish inside the top 15 at #12, with two classes at #20 and the other at #19.
Meanwhile in that time Billy has had one class finish inside the top 13 which was last year at #7 while being an absolute disaster on the field and the trail (Rashada debacle). For a guy whose strongest attribute as a coach is recruiting, outperforming those two is far from a “major accomplishment”.
Matter of fact, I’d argue finishing behind the turds last year is a major disappointment. Especially after our season while losing top recruits to them at the close (whatever the reason why).
Ain't no games being played and the fans are still complaining lolWin games and the fans won't complain. It's that simple.
Putting this on fans is asinine.
I agree that’s the only part of the team last year that was a huge miss everything else was playoff caliber.Evals, development, roster management… it’s all on Mario at that point.
Awesome you said this, I wasn’t able to cut my brain stew to make it that succinct.Only if we played the Gators every game.
Ask again in 3 years. He’s not on the hot seat with the powers that be until at least year 6. If he doesn’t make the playoff this year, the wheels may come off.Honest question. Because I’m starting to lose my patience with Mario. Would Miami need to go look at a younger coach, someone in the nfl, or would lane Kiffin win at Miami? I legit have always been pro Mario.
But the local recruits are in a position to directly improve the results on the field, while the fans aren't. That's the difference. And I'm not blaming the local recruits, but they seem to be more interested in joining teams that are already winning than going to their hometown school and helping it return to contention. Its the same mentality that leads them to high schools like AH, STA, CM and a couple of others instead of staying at Dillard or Ely and making their local HS great.I think you misread that. Nobody is blaming the fans. They are reacting to the product.
What I’m saying is that many of the same people who (rightly) complain about the product act disgusted when local recruits see the same problems they see.
NOHold up.... so in the last 3yrs, y'all saying y'all would prefer uf's recruiting classes over ours?
The same Lane Kiffin that lost to the gaytes?Honest question. Because I’m starting to lose my patience with Mario. Would Miami need to go look at a younger coach, someone in the nfl, or would lane Kiffin win at Miami? I legit have always been pro Mario.
Okay... I must be blind but why is Dmoney getting downvoted for saying we have recruited better than them....????
lol when I see these reactions to any of my posts, I feel even more confident that what I wrote was correct…. And if it happens to you, you all should too. That makes 110% sense. I’m not remotely surprised. Meathead couldn’t help himself because it was an OL. I mean I’ve said it many times on here. He’s just not that smart and I’ve seen it in the real world as I’m sure you have too - it always amazes me how some of the biggest dumb dumbs rise to the financial and promotions top of the mountain.
Eh, maybe “we” are then smh… wasn’t looking at reactions. No is still the answer.Okay... I must be blind but why is Dmoney getting downvoted for saying we have recruited better than them....????

Billy had legacy recruits and buyout money to help him and the sell of a qb for the future to help bring In some skill guys with high rankings.
Mario is an elite recruiter and one of the best if not the best in the country. His accolades speak for themselves. The reason we’re losing kids isn’t because he’s not a top recruiter it’s a multitude of factors like we’re in a **** conference. Also we have the most negative community spewing bull**** to kids pushing them to the sec and Ohio state.
That’s not his fault he’s recruiting at a top 10 clip that’s a fact. We as fans need to pack the stadium and create an atmosphere for the games that can help him sell this dream. We have to stop bad mouthing him every chance we get. **** we’re already hated by everyone else. Why the **** do we need it in our own house. He’s not perfect but he is better then anyone else we’ve had in here since Butch Davis.
Because people don’t believe that to be true???Okay... I must be blind but why is Dmoney getting downvoted for saying we have recruited better than them....????
Okay so did you see my question? If they think they've recruited better than us, the only logical thought is that they also would prefer their classes over ours......Because people don’t believe that to be true???
I would rather have Texas roster if trade are still open.So now y'all want uf's roster?? Ay man.... y'all find new ways to disgust me every freaking day
Without a doubt!! LolI would rather have Texas roster if trade are still open.
