I held off on my thoughts and wrote it off as a non issue because I was telling myself they had the funds earmarked for Cooper, Keys, and Johnson.

Looks like we’re wiffing on all 3 so now I’m concerned about it.

JJ- I never really felt good there.

Turner- DMONEY always said it was an SMU battle with us. We landed Briggs as a move te,a nd SMU ponied up and he looks like will stay home

Kolojay- Cherry on top target, big boy recruiting..gonna have to go to war to land

Lopez- Didnt seem to be a priority, then became one, then seems to have just made a verbal just to have a spot somewhere seems to me considering dude saidd himself its just a "verbal".

out of that group I really really want Turner, Kolojay in the class.

Every one else could be replaced with comparable players to me.

Someone is lying bc insiders swore that we were throwing big $ in this year’s cycle (more than one insider has said that on this board) - like top 2-3 NIL type money. Now the narrative is we only have enough NIL to sign one 5 star? Not buying it considering we were after a bunch of 5 stars.
 
Dmoney, I usually love you and Ariz's content but yall have been tripping lately with the mope stuff regarding local recruits.

It's not the old days when you just take everybody under the sun because it just cost a spot. It's cost money now (real money, not monoply). You can't just take/pay Calvin Russell because it would look good. He's a kool prospect but I'm not spending real money on him. I hate to be the bad guy but Derrek Cooper falls in the same boat production wise.

When you made the video ranking recent local backs and maxpreps said his yards last year was 950 you thought it was a mistake but it was the real deal. The idea of a 225lb back with 10.6 speed might sound like Etienne but I promise you Etienne didn't have under a G in any season of high school ball.

We have a top 10 recruiting class and have been getting them and will keep getting them. A non-Dalvin back and a skinny tall receiver is not stopping this train.

Has Mario signed more than 1 top ten class? I thought 24’ class was the only one?

That makes 110% sense. I’m not remotely surprised. Meathead couldn’t help himself because it was an OL. I mean I’ve said it many times on here. He’s just not that smart and I’ve seen it in the real world as I’m sure you have too - it always amazes me how some of the biggest dumb dumbs rise to the financial and promotions top of the mountain.
