On the field, the talent disparity was obvious to anybody with eyes and honesty. Their fans left midway through the third.

This is a good thread to complain about many things. All deserved. But praising a dead UF program without facts is a bridge too far.

Head to head, we have our fair share of wins and losses in recruiting with them.

The problem is Mario. He hires. He fires. I’ve heard enough from multiple people on here alone who have raised what you are saying for long enough that it’s just more of what I’ve seen since early on. Mario is his own worst enemy. He shoots himself in the foot. He makes some bad decisions and the MarioBros make some bad excuses.

Are you high? Our offense was on a roll the whole day. Syracuse defense was crap and we had Cam Ward. As it turned out we never got the ball back. Also, the FG made goal made it 42-38 and we still need a TD to win the game. Besides not kneeling down for GT game this was dumbest most moronic decision I've ever seen. MARIO IS ONE DUMB COACH. What are you missing here? Our defense was getting torched and it was dead tired and Mario thought we could stop them. WOW WOW WOWW you got to be kidding me.

The head coach made that decision and gets the blame.
 
There’s no sugar coating this. Mario was hired because of his recruiting prowess, but that’s 2 recruiting seasons in a row where he cannot close.

Those thinking that we’re going to have a great season with our toughest schedule in years are delusional. If we win 10 games it’ll be a minor miracle.

Our defense would have to stop them regardless on the next series. TD or not. Blowing a 21 point lead is a more valid argument.

He’s recruiting top 10 level after years of mediocre performances by past coaches and winning key trench battles. You can’t say it’s not an accomplishment winning recruiting battles when we haven’t dominated recruiting like this in our state in atleast 15 years.

I have really bad news for you...we still would have needed a stop from that defense.

It’s June. We can either end up with a top 10 class or fall out of the top 15 the way things are going. The kids we have committed may start to wonder why they committed if we don’t start landing kids that they thought they would be playing with.

Just came off of 10 win season with a record setting offense. But dudes Keep moving the goalposts because people are trying to hide the fact that we can’t pay what these other schools are paying.

When we hired CMR it was because we needed to win 10 games. He won 10 games and still couldn’t land the best recruits. Now Mario won 10 games spanked uf and he still can’t land the recruits that he’s after especially the elite local ones. Which is what he was specifically brought in to not lose and he personally said he wanted to put a stop to.

Too many in here are denial or is being fed a bunch of horse manure. It’s obvious we do not have the money to compete with the top schools at this point.
Even if we win 10 games, beat Clemson and go to the playoffs; these kids are going to go to the other schools because they’re paying more.
Everybody says that these kids just wanna see wins. Yeah they want to see wins in their bank account.
