The Foreclosure (7/12)

why do u keep stating this bullsh*t?.

miami could of scored 50 if they wanted to......their first td was a **** blown assignment. That sh*t wasnt gonna be a game regardless.
Exactly WTF was he watching? We literally GANG RAPED THEM(pause) with NO VASELINE.

Are you high? He blew the Syracuse game not giving Cam a chance to win the game NEAR THE GAME instead kicking a stupid FG and we lost lost a game. He relied on our defense that got torched the entire game. Everyone in college football saw that moronic move that could have cost us a trip to the ACC Championship game and the playoffs. YIKES!
I love that we just continue to neglect that it was 4th and goal from 10-yard-line. I think they should have gone for it, but there is maybe a 20% chance they convert there. Blame X for fumbling or George for yet another dumb penalty.

didn’t think that after a 10 win season and turning Ward into first overall pick that the arrow would be pointing down for Cristobal. But here we are.

Trying to figure out how things went sideways. I suspect it has something to do with what some respected posters here warned about - Cristobal has a couple people on his staff that are kneecapping his recruiting but he won’t make a change.

This is dumb and lame. Coaches learn and improve from mistakes and every single NFL team has a person designated for time management, when to go for two, go on 4th down, etc. #DoBetter

But He's shown he doesn't learn from his mistakes or else he would've taken a knee vs GT considering he lost to Stanford in '18 the same way.

we flipped kids every fall. im not worried right now. last year we didnt get kids on defense because guidry sucked and was lazy as a recruiter. everyone knew he was gone.

Why do you think it is that towards the end of the season, Cristobal didn’t demote Guidry and try someone else at DC? Even Diaz had the balls to do that during a season. Did Cristobal think the defense was better than it was? Was it loyalty? I don’t get why he didn’t at least try something. Not demoting Guidry may have cost us a playoff spot.

he told him to make changes, he would agree then do what he wanted. I really dont know. it clearly wasnt loyalty, he was getting fired regardless.
I dont think we had anyone with experience play calling.

At this point you whiffed on all the big DTs. Missed on the safety’s. There’s gotta be a ton of $. Throw an absurd amount at cooper and keys maybe someone else. make an overpay Offer they can’t say no to. call it a day.
Id rather do the opposite and throw an absurd money at flipping the DTs and losing keys/Cooper.

And we would have needed a FG and Defensive stop anyways

The running back carries to me bothered me because they felt rehearsed. Like so and so is playing this series no matter what

Sometimes you gotta scrap that ****

DAMMIT HOW DID WE GET HERE
That's exactly how it felt. Like during team meetings it was decided that Martinez would get carries 1-5, 9-11, and 15. Fletcher got 6-8 and 15-20. The rest were spread out between Lyle and Allen. It was to be that way regardless of what was happening or how well or poorly someone was doing.

We should egregiously tamper and get a top player to transfer. Forget recruiting, this is a do or die season. May not be another year for Mario. Get a top proven DT and a top proven WR. Worry about flipping HS recruits later.

It is what it is….just win the conference for the 1st time in UM history….land another portal QB, keep the high level players we have and send more guys to the NFL as Day 1 and Day 2 picks.

We do this along with the resources we have, and recruiting will ultimately take care of itself.

Miami’s average high school recruiting ranking from 23-25 is 8th. Florida is 11th not a huge gap but it is a gap stop belittling our program.

Just because you’re mad with Mario about these misses. Yes they are bad but we’ve only finished second in our state once since he’s been here. That is a major accomplishment don’t diminish it just to push a narrative.
It’s really not with the two goobers he’s going up against while being labeled as an “Elite” recruiter. But we tend to conflate meeting expectations with major accomplishments around here
