The first coach I want to poach

Oregon has one sophomore and four RS Seniors starting on their O-line. A RS Senior at TE too.

Not to mention an experienced Top 5 pick at QB.

That might help their O-line look a little bit better than ours.

The underclassmen he has on his roster are going to be better than what they have now. He has done an amazing job recruiting Olineman and TE's. Alex interviewed for the Oline job when Richt got hired, and he didn't get the job. Alex would not come to UM, he loves Eugene, and is loyal to Mario.

They need to reshuffle the DB coaching room. Something has to give there, I mean just way to many misses in a room that should be absolutely loaded given our history/scheme/recruiting ground. Should also free up a spot for a real Special Teams coach. This screwed Golden, CMR and is now hurting Manny. Go out and get a dedicated special teams coach. And if he can be a rock star recruiter that's even better, because they're seriously lacking that right now. Stephen Field is the only coach I even see trying to go after elite talent.

4 year senior starters for a LB tandem to lead our defense and you wouldn't think so from watching the first 2 games. That's all I need to know about our LB coaching and the guy who molded them since day 1 here.

Keep in mind most teams go three and four wide so two of the three play. Quarterman may not be as fast as some would like but he never folds. As far as Pinckney goes he is solid neither are super stars but they're solid

They played better in Year 1 and 2 than they've played up to this point in the season. That's inexcusable, and its not like they've gotten lazy or haven't taken control. They are leading but they haven't looked good individually.

OLC Alex Mirabal from Oregon. His OL looks big, fast & physical. I was surprised in the work they did against Auburn.

Butch Barry seems to me a solid OL coach, I can think of 4 other coaches I’d like replaced. Mirabal maybe a great add but let’s throw out some options for let’s say Safety coach, Special Teams and WR 🤷🏻‍♂️

It'd make em look more well coached. Im just talking their physicality though. It looked upper level.

Look at the front four they had those years compared to now

And that’s why I wanted Mario because atleast the guy has been a head coach before and knows the value of hiring the best staff unlike manny Montana. Smh

I think butch barry can coach. The problem i see is that miami needs to change its recruiting philosophy on the oline. A true freshman from ga and sc comes in and starts over kids that have been here forever. Not going to find many lineman in FL and specifically south florida

They never got over the Maria Taylor interview last pre season,

He better hope Luigi never pulls a Coker on him then to save his own ***. I think a lot of us could see him doing that if need be.

I obviously have my own opinions about Cristobal's coaching too (they pan out yearly) but it's not fair for any of us to gaff off your primo's abilities as a positions coach just because he has an senior laden o-line unit. There are plenty of corches that ***** up inherited talent and like you said- they're actually doing a phenomenal job of recruiting on the line.
