This, he was so lean that if he packed on 10lbs of muscle he was gonna start looking stacked. Good to see the kid putting in work and taking weights seriously.Functional muscle does my dude. That’s why there are S&C programs in all major team sports. Muscle development can be visual and not so visual. That depends on muscle thinkness, bodyfat percentage (low) and subcontaneuos water between muscle & the skin. A lean kid like Malik Curtis will more likely show new developments.
That’s more technique and want to than it is strength. Our guys aren’t natural maulers and the tend to stand up too fast and bend at the weight too often. Why tf can't he get our line strong enough to open running lanes consistently?
I always see this but why these guys can’t tackle, some of them are big for nothing.Feeley is getting these boys right. Malik Curtis posted these pics on his feed. ****!!!
I'm just happy Feely is allowed in the weight room.
No.Am I the only one that doesn't hate Feeley?
He doesn't know the ST playbook yetwhy hasn't this dude been given a chance at kick or punt returns?
Feebly? Because he's a staff member.why hasn't this dude been given a chance at kick or punt returns?
Does Gene still do that at whatever Noles site he runs? I had like a 1000 usernames banded for asking him why he liked shirtless dudes pictures so much. Back in the day every article he put out had shirtless dude pics. When whorechant was dominated by Cane fans.Doesnt fsu post these kinds of pics and drool over them?
You’re exactly rightWe have had a number of good performances in the 4th quarter where it was obvious that our players were in better shape than the opponents. UM as a team is in as good shape as we have seen in years. Coaches don’t “coach” better in the 4th quarter as much as conditioning increases in importance as the game transpires. Feely is doing a good job by any objective standard.
No matter what you build mentality & technique matter. Feeley’s job is the build these kids up. It’s up to the coaches and the kids themselves to make it happen.Feebly has them build their glamour muscles (biceps, traps, etc). Remember, part of the reason Manyul brought him here was because Feebly also subscribes to the all style/no substance football philosophy.
Actually dynamic pre-workout warmup, working proper (progressive) ROM during the lifts and post workout stretching, all help develop dynamic, flexible muscle & joints. This, he was so lean that if he packed on 10lbs of muscle he was gonna start looking stacked. Good to see the kid putting in work and taking weights seriously.
Stretching after each lift goes a long ways toward maintaining flexibility.
Tackling has less to do with muscle and more about desire, mentality and techniqueI always see this but why these guys can’t tackle, some of them are big for nothing.
