Not Going to Lie, I was very concerned when we only recruited one RB in back to back cycles and even more concerned when Bama tried to flip him late and rumors were swirling. Now we see why Bama tried so hard for the flip and why Javian drew raves during camp. Going to be interesting to watch his career evolve.

Have to admit last night reminded me a bit of Gore's early FR games.

Tyrone Moss & Gore were Build similarly,He look very much like Junior year Gore & 49er Gore.

Gore as Fresman was much more like Clinton Portis, Elusive , Explosive & Fast very much like Price of Notre Dame.

No longer had true Break away speed.

Not saying he is as good but man he looks and moves a lot like Gore.

Frank was more athletic, but Mallory has a similar combination of pad-level, decisiveness, & feet.

His vision is elite and he’s more explosive than he showed last year at high school. I think a lot of that has to do with the car accident or whatever he went through in high school taking away from his strength and conditioning because he has turned it up a notch since getting to college.
