The Evolution of Javian Mallory's Game: "We GreenTree Made"

[bshaw28]

My favorite thing is when a RB gets upfield with a purpose. Mallory's been doing exactly that.

Everybody on this site needs to watch this, and don’t even look at Mallory.

Watch #9 on just about every single clip.

Not taking anything away from Mallory, he deserves all he’s getting right now. But sheeeeeesh just follow 9 young buck. Goodness. Watch each clip 2-3 times and just focus on 9.

**** yes. He’s taken more than his share of **** on here but you gotta call it how you see it, 9 has been working out there all year. Love to see it. Blocking his *** off and now has 15 catches and 2 TDs too. 4th on the team in catches and yards, tied for 3rd in TDs.

I think people forget how insane gore was as a freshman. Mallory is good, Gore was other worldly. His ability to break long run after long run was absurd. Gore pre knee issues could have been the best pure rb I ever saw in person

No question about it his spring game freshman year was the best I had ever seen in person

Very promising kid. Very very few wasted steps, arrives with violence.

Not Going to Lie, I was very concerned when we only recruited one RB in back to back cycles and even more concerned when Bama tried to flip him late and rumors were swirling. Now we see why Bama tried so hard for the flip and why Javian drew raves during camp. Going to be interesting to watch his career evolve.

Have to admit last night reminded me a bit of Gore's early FR games.

Almost messed around and lost him trying to get Derek Cooper. Turns out we got the better RB.

He is going to be a star
