Talk about being indecisive. Kid left USC 2 weeks after enrolling, and is now considering going back to USC. I'm all for player mobility but this is just ridiculous.

I don’t think it’s ridiculous. As long as USC has a position for him and wants him back then he should be able to go back. If they don’t want him back then he just have to find another school.

I saw something about this last night and did some reading around the USC and Texas boards. Interesting, no word at all on Texas. In fact, he was singled out along with another early enrollee as being "stars" in spring workouts, etc.
On the USC board, there was more. There is some reference to a story that Texas never applied for his waiver. Supposedly there were promises or assurances made and not fulfilled and he is not happy. Nothing really specific or concrete.
Will be interesting to see how this story plays out..... It is looking like he will absolutely be sitting for a year no matter where he ends up...
Good point, I forgot about Kliff being their when he signed. Kliff isn't there now though. To be fair, seems like the kid probably went to USC to play for Klimt. Kliff goes to the NFL and so the kid transferred. That doesn’t seem like that random or indecisive of an initial decision.
Ppl holding 17 year olds to these standards but our coach did what to temple lmao
Why should the kids have to sit out? Coaches recruit these kids, make false promises, then kids show up to campus and see reality. So why can’t a athlete transfer before the new fall term just any other student without having to sit out a year.He got hired by a company and a better company made him a more lucrative offer. Happens everyday in the world.
As far as transfers I'm for letting kids transfer without having to sit out, but you I'd have to place certain restrictions on the transfer.

It’s just like you said, manny made a company decision. But coaches aren’t losing a year of the new contract as consequence to leaving for a better situation. Point is be 100 percent clear and hold everybody to the same standards. That includes coaches.
“I feel so sorry for Temple, our mean coach did the same thing”
