The Don is back - "I was born for this"

Do yall really think Knighton and Chaney are really gonna get a lot of reps with both Harris and Burns ahead of them.

Look how bad the starters have been mismanaged with Diaz. Nelson at tackle, quarterbacks, new receivers every play, lingard...

I want to see them play but I'm not getting m u hopes up.

And not starting Rousseau until week 6 last year lollll this coaching staff is a little slow...

You're not the only one, that's the prevailing thought on the board, the majority of people on here think because he played in a Wing-T it's gonna take him forever to learn the Spread.

I'm actually in the minority along with Cribby that thinks Chaney will hit the ground running his TF year.

He's a physical freak with special ability & high upside, people are selling too high on High school offense transition & not paying enough attention to his elite athletic traits.
Also add in his football IQ. Need to reiterate that Don is intelligent. Learning the Spread may not be as difficult as expected for him.

I don’t want to put this kind of pressure on the kid but man Don reminds me of Gore in every way. As good as duke was I think Don is are most talented running back since Frank.
Whooaaaa calm that down ..go look at Dukes HS highlights..then his college highlights. Then Franks..IMO Don is not quite on they level out of HS but he’s gonna be a beast

I am a big fan of his but I will wait to put him there...man Duke was special here

Shouldn’t have even asked the question, WE GOT BOTH. Does Cam Harris return for his senior season (a lot obviously depends on this upcoming season). If he does return, does Thad Franklin de-commit?
He a Rb if he get 900 or more yards rushing he got to go pro , nfl life for RBs is a short one

RB is the easiest position to transition from one level to the next but the fact that he played in an archaic offense and played against a low level of competition concerns me.

As aforementioned, I still think he'll do well because of his elite traits and physical abilities.

I think Burns get supplanted by Knighton and Chaney. Burns value might be as a power back. His lack of vision is worrisome.

How much is the RB depended on to pass block in Lashlee’s offense? That tends to be the area that restricts running backs from getting significant snaps. Maybe if the offense features lots of quick throws and backs running routes, both freshmen will get some burn.

I like Harris and Burns but AT LEAST one freshman will get serious playing time.

Don is the prize of the class on the offensive side of the ball. We’ve had some very talented running backs play here over the last fifteen years. Don is elite among the best of them. He’s going to be in the Heisman conversation going into his sophomore season. I’m very confident in saying he’s going to be a better college back than the one he was in high school. That’s insane, considering he was an all American and five star. He will be a Gurley sized beast, and possible bigger and stronger. He is everything we all hope for and he will exceed our expectations. He’s that guy.
