THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BAMA AND US

You don't get to decide what the standard is.

Nor do you.

The program set that standard; I'm unaware of a change.

The fans certainly expect that as the standard.

Try harder next time nephew.

Washington State would crush Miami. We don't have to look ahead to teams like Alabama to paint a telling contrast

The program is broken, sucks, and the administration could give a rat’s ***. In other words, we don’t really have a team anymore. That’s just fine with the PTB. I just wonder how long before we’re kicked out of a basketball conference with. one actually good team.

There’s about 10 reasons they are a much better program than us now and their OL is about #5.

1. Saban
2. Boosters
3. Unlimited War chest (ticket sales, merchandise, SEC TV money, etc)
4. Recruiting (you could argue this should be #1, but you can't recruit at a high level without elite coach+$$$)
5. Administration
6. Largest coaching staff in D1 football, paid for by #2 & #3
7. Mark Emmert
8. HGH & Turinabol
9. Facilities
10. Not afraid of change; willing to fire coaches when they underperform

If you want a numerical perspective, the difference is 26 points. That is the gap between Alabama's 104 power rating on Sagarin to Miami's 78.

Contrast to final numbers from 2017, when that gap was 17 points.

Alabama has risen 3 points from 101 to 104 while Miami dropped from 84 to 78

At least this season we have been spared the posts that Alabama is on the verge of declining back into the pack.

Well they spend over double the amount on their coaching staff, they buy the top players, they pump them full of hGH, and they get all the calls from the SEC refs.
Much easier to do all that in MIA than Bama. We should pay PI’s to catch them. It’d be the easiest job on the planet.
