The Crowd

For the Boston Red Sox, absolutely but not for a Miami hurricanes game.

Miami is a pro sports city unfortunately. The big matchups will be electric tho
Yes, Miami is not a "State U" with a huge alumni base. They rely on locals whose entertainment dollars the Canes have to fight for along with 4 pro sports teams who do not typically have 3 TD underdogs (or similar disparity in other sports). So, they show up to the big games where the games are more competitive.

Facts. that 2017 ND game was insane

Should do what other schools do and take season tickets if they don’t show up by halftime
The problem is that they have to beg the students to even come at all, so antagonizing them won't work.

Not too long ago, college kids were broke and getting drunk and going to a football game was a good cheap way to spend a Saturday.... but nowadays it seems that the undergrad population has plenty of cash to blow and are mostly worried about building up their instagram followings

This is the last time I’m going to go over then with some of you.
Do your homework and compare Miami’s attendance with other schools in Major cities. Pitt, BC, USC, UCLA, Washington, SMU, Houston etc. You’ll see Miami is easily top three, we will never be like these other schools.
We are a town with a college not a college with a town.

I was at the game and would say it was about 50K...just not good enough. With a stadium that holds about 67K, I'd put U tarps in sections of the upper deck endzones to close up four sections. Make sure you fill up the lower bowl. And bus in every **** youth camp in South Florida. Fill it up with 5K kids. Do this for BC and Duke!

With the amount of tik tok and IG influencers currently attending Miami, the Athletic Department would be wise to hire some of these influencers to promote and attend the games.

It's a silly idea but that's where this generation is these days. But if we aren't leveraging the number of influencers currently on campus, then we are missing out (maybe we do and I'm so far removed from that space I'm unaware).

Did a fellowship in Birmingham, AL.

Birmingham was actually hoppin for the area, probably more to do there than all other areas in original SEC country outside of Nashville & Atlanta of course.

I'm a solid 6.5/10 dude but had ladies throwing themselves at me, in a couple of cases literally, because apparently a 6.5/10 Chicagoland area guy is "movie star good looking" to Alabamians.

Point being: no ******* **** we dont fill a stadium in Miami, we have standards, options, and *** abbondanza.

There is **** all else to do in Tuscaloosa.

Really simple ****.

Same reason Braves dont fill stadiums historically in Atlanta.
