Unfortunately it’s the nature of Miami ppl got hella **** to do we will never consistently fill the stadium against trash teams..It’s pretty **** wild we can’t fill that stadium for the #1 team in the country
So true.They only cost $90k/yr.
Miami is a pro sports city unfortunately. The big matchups will be electric thoYou’re preaching to the choir. I get it. Doesn’t make it any less disappointing to see on TV. I just feel like these kids deserve to play in a packed house weekly
Yes, Miami is not a "State U" with a huge alumni base. They rely on locals whose entertainment dollars the Canes have to fight for along with 4 pro sports teams who do not typically have 3 TD underdogs (or similar disparity in other sports). So, they show up to the big games where the games are more competitive.Miami is a pro sports city unfortunately. The big matchups will be electric tho

The problem is that they have to beg the students to even come at all, so antagonizing them won't work.Should do what other schools do and take season tickets if they don’t show up by halftime
Attendance at the Orange Bowl is one of the great urban myths .During the 2001 football season, the University of Miami averaged home crowds of 47162.
alabaga is a dumpster fire and poorest state in America
With the amount of tik tok and IG influencers currently attending Miami, the Athletic Department would be wise to hire some of these influencers to promote and attend the games. The problem is that they have to beg the students to even come at all, so antagonizing them won't work.
Not too long ago, college kids were broke and getting drunk and going to a football game was a good cheap way to spend a Saturday.... but nowadays it seems that the undergrad population has plenty of cash to blow and are mostly worried about building up their instagram followings
