Most people, and this is especially true in South Florida, would rather do 1 million different things than watch Tyler commit seppuku while our Neanderthal of a head coach forces our offense into a phone booth.
 
Took my oldest son to his first game. For Virginia, the crowd was solid. But like people said in here, my row didn't fill up until close to the end of the first quarter. There were like 6 people in my row until.

We left a little bit after the fourth quarter, we had to travel back to Melbourne. Walking back to the car, there was still large groups of people tailgating lol.

I’ll never understand that. If it’s a sell out, sure. But when you can basically go in for free, why stay in the parking lot?!
 
I was at the Clemson it was a great atmosphere very loud-

Went to the Virginia game as well it got loud during key parts of the game-

First time in years I’ve been to back to back games-

South Florida has always been a big game event town even when we were on the top of college football world back in the day it was the same-

I just try to enjoy the game not make it anymore than it is-

Unless it’s FSU,UF, or Notre Dame it is what it is.

Combination of things.

First, it was Homecoming, so there were a lot of alumni events pre-game, and the Iron Arrow members are down on the field.

Second, there are a lot of club areas in the stadium. I have seats in the 10th row, but I usually head to the club area until kickoff, even though I'm in the stadium early.

Finally, a lot of people wait until the last minute to enter the stadium, and then spend time in lines at the snack bars. Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong, my seats are on the aisle, but I simply don't see people walking around selling food and drinks any longer. Did Hard Rock just stop all of that?

Will rarely look good aside from for marquee games

There are plenty of season ticket holders on the away side. Including myself. Section 119.

Also, part of the "away" side is made up of students. And the band.

Fair, not "all", but home side definitely has more of the season ticket holders if for no other reason than to stay out of the sun, so my point remains

Anyone that goes to games knows the UM side is full.....every single game. Upper and lower I have sat in both sections for years.

I sit on the away side. I can see the entire "UM side". Upper is NOT full every single game.

Season tickets are sold all over the stadium, except for the corner that is used for the away-team allotment.

And don't tell me this didn't happen. Just before scheduled kickoff at the aTm game. "UM side". The LEAST full area is the most expensive (non-suite) area.

Read my words. "Scheduled" kickoff. The kickoff was delayed, but nobody knew about it. So this was the time the game was SUPPOSED to start. No excuse not to be in your seat at kickoff, right?

Did you think I doctored the photo?

I think it doesn't represent the point of my post.

The home side has significantly more people than the away side. Every game.

Are you willing to take my 24-14 pregame prediction now? Our QB is a turnover waiting to happen, our Oline weares teams down and we have more RB’s than any program in the country. Style points don’t count, but W’s do.
Whatever you think of Mario, he is absolutely playing to his personnel. That is is precisely what a coach must do.
