The Crowd

Same arguments every week…

I think the fan experience could be improved…

I also think the offense sucks and could be more fun to watch…

The game was boring to watch for much of it and the team seems disorganized, which is frustrating.

People always say that the other side is the visitor side, but that doesn't hold water unless we're different from every away game I've ever attended. In those, we're given the absolute worst seats, generally tucked in a corner somewhere. They just aren't as desirable as sitting behind our bench and not enough of our fans are buying them.
Visitor side is in the sun for noon games which means nobody in their right mind buys those seats. Visitor seats are corner of east end zone.

There is no “visitor’s side”. There are sections in the northeast allocated for away team’s tickets. That’s it. Our fans just avoid that side like the plague because of the sun. Apparently the sun doesn’t exist in other stadiums around the world, or if it does some of our fans would rather just not go. The same people that couldn’t be paid to go stand in the snow at a Big 10 game in November will also not go to a UM game because there is too much sunshine.
Bake in the sun or sit in the shade for the same price.

Really?

Anyone that goes to games knows the UM side is full.....every single game. Upper and lower I have sat in both sections for years.

At least on TV, a terrible look. Just close off the Upper Deck, and the side with seats in the sun ... that might do it.

ACC network actually did us some favors by only showing either close-up shots of the lower bowl where it was full, or Birds Eye view from above the stadium so the roof covered the upper deck

Fans know our team they can show up late they ain’t gonna miss much. Gotta be fun to watch and winning to draw and at least we have been winning

Oh Id never blame somebody for sitting in the shade. I’m more so alluding to the home sideline (shaded) usually has less availability so the most available seating is on the north. Lots of people would rather not go than sit in the sun on that north side.

I’m not gonna lie … we really don’t be in a rush to make kick off ! lol I be closing the cooler up about 10 mins before kick off and it’s a 20 walk and process to get in and seated.
I hardly ever make it before kickoff. It's pretty much tradition at this point lol

One thing I’ll say about Cane fans though…they can get LOUD af when they want to. Maybe it’s just me, but there’s times when 45-50k at our home games can sound like 100k at some of these other stadiums when they get rowdy.

It's going to sound loud if you've got people yelling right by you. You aren't going to hear the people across the field, etc. In the field though, it's much different when you have larger numbers.

Not a great tradition. Why not just show up for the Second Half?

Then again, thank you for showing up. You're obviously a real fan. We could use another 20,000 or so like you.

Miami Heat had 3 HOF’ers playing every night for what 3 years,. And a bunch of fans showed up either late, or not at all.

I remember when Lebron called the fans out about it.

Dolphins seems to be the only team in town that gets the respect.. regardless how trash they’ve been for dam near 30 years.

Well I live in Alabama so traveling to go to home games is time consuming and I like to spend as much time at the tailgate to catch up with people I only get to hang out with 5 or 6 times a year.
