At game time, the stands looked almost completely empty. Watching from home, I was shocked.
By the end of the first quarter, the crowd looked reasonably decent. (By Cane standards)
Are our fans the latest-arriving in college football? We’re not the only folks who like to tailgate.
Looked like 35,000-40,000 in the stands. That sound right?

The same thing happens for Heat games - crowds don't arrive until the middle of the 1st Quarter.

I guess it's simply a SFLA thing?

I was there and youre right, stadium was not as full as it should have been after last week's game. That being said... season ticket holders are all on the opposite side of the tv camera, so we're always showing the visiting sideline, and the side that is less full. Will rarely look good aside from for marquee games

I’m not gonna lie … we really don’t be in a rush to make kick off ! lol I be closing the cooler up about 10 mins before kick off and it’s a 20 walk and process to get in and seated.
I'm the same way, I tell the fam, go ahead on, I'll meet you there, I'm gonna have another beer or 2 then chug a water....I almost always never see kickoff.

The camera faces the opposing team sideline.

Do the math.

People always say that the other side is the visitor side, but that doesn't hold water unless we're different from every away game I've ever attended. In those, we're given the absolute worst seats, generally tucked in a corner somewhere. They just aren't as desirable as sitting behind our bench and not enough of our fans are buying them.

The home side bottom and upper deck are always pretty much full. The corner where the students are and that side is pretty much never full. And that’s the side they show.
