Great game by Philadelphia. The better team won. Gronk: “...definitely sucks to be on this side.” Yeah, Gronk, that does, that’s what you been doing to teams for years by having calls go your way by the officials, and acting like you are the victims. I love how you throw your arms up when hands are laid on you. I love how TB fakes a forward pass by motioning his arm forward after being stripped - hopping the call will go in his favor. The least sportsman-like team in the sport. So glad for their loss. Time to celebrate a well-earned victory by some honest team.

It goes beyond that. All 8 of them could have switched winners without much changing. For all the clear cut Patriots wins in the regular season and AFC playoffs they have struggled in every Super Bowl. Today was actually the first time in any of the 8 Brady appearances that they scored any points in the first quarter.

As a kid we had family season tickets to the '72 Dolphins. Asante Samuel dropping the high sideline interception to seal 19-0, followed by the David Tyree miraculous catch, those plays stand out from the only Patriots Super Bowl I ever really cared about. The subsequent ones might as well be yawners.

As a long suffering Eagles fan it's absolutely glorious to finally hoist the Lombardi Trophy! That being said, I don't get all the hate for Tom Brady. The guy is easily the GOAT. 5 SB titles in 8 appearances. Throwing for 500 yards in the Super Bowl at age 40? The guy is just amazing which makes beating the Patriots for the title that much sweeter. Fly Eagles Fly!

Meh. He's a system quarterback.

Obviously kidding but you really shouldn't need anyone to explain that hate. I mean as an Iggles fan you might have less awareness of it but do you not comprehend how god awful Bahston sports fans are? Brady is just a symbol of all of that.

Congrats though, I set aside my cross-state animosity and was pulling for you guys today. At least momentary "We are all Pennsylvanians today" allowed for some great Pats based schadenfreude and kept those cheating ******** from matching the Steelers 6 trophies.

I was under the impression that the subject was football. Maybe if the Dolphins organization especially the front office put as much passion and effort into building a great football team as the dolphin fans do into mindless Brady hatred maybe the Dolphins would actually win something of significance this century.
