And honestly, Indiana doesn't run much man. They pretty much do just run zone. I expect them to run a little bit man this game just because it seems to be that Carson Beck's really good at throwing through zones. So, I do expect them to run more man this game than they normally do."

- Says Indiana is more complex schematically than everyone else in CFB
- Says Indiana is well-equiped to stop duo run plays because IU LBs fill gaps quickly and use speed to get past bigger OL, IU DBs are elite tacklers
- Says Ponds covers so much space that Indiana sometimes lets Ponds cover half the field by himself
- Says Ponds can handle Toney 1-on-1, Ponds handled Jeremiah Smith 1-on-1 for most of the game
- Says Indiana is good at scheming free rushers with their pressures, with underrated quickness on their speed rush
-Thinks Miami's big OL will have trouble in pass pro against Indiana superior lateral quickness
-Thinks Indiana's OL punching technique is a good natural matchup for Bain & Mesidor double hand swipes
-Thinks Miami is sloppy and undisciplined and relies on athleticism too much, says IU has a couple players that are good at running seam routes that will be open

I’m curious what our plan is knowing they will very likely stop our screens. Ole Miss was poorly prepared on defense. Indiana will not be. What other wrinkles can we use to exploit weaknesses
need to pump fake and sell the screen to Mali, and have a WR. break off the faux block for verticals and take some shots. If they sell out over aggressive on stopping the screens, we have to take some shots off those plays

Agreed. And ideally a handful of RPOs to back them off the line. Mostly our tendencies on formations and down/distance or our checks are easy to read so if we don’t wrinkle in those situations it will be really disappointing. This team is coached really well they will know how to get us into our checks like UL did

LOL. Most everyone else is saying they don't have a good punch at all.

Also DUO is NOT just an inside run. If the LB's are crashing inside too aggressively the RB just pops it out to the C gap and it's 1 v1 vs Ponds a 170lb CB. WE WANT THAT!!!!! They key is Fletcher being patient and pressing the hole.

He's full of it. Just watched their tackles get abused by Penn State, who has nobody on the level of Bain or Messi. There was pressure from the edges all game long. Some of these "analysts" really strain to see what they want to see while turning a blind eye to what our guys have done vs good OLs all season long.

This will be fun.

His analysis is very Indiana bias.

I’ve watched Indiana, mainly against Oregon and OSU, and there’s just a big difference in our OL vs those teams OL. Our OL is better and I don’t think it’s close. Those OLs have some real liabilities, Miami’s doesn’t. Brockemeyer might be the weakest, but he’s not a scrub/liability. Their DL is quick but they ain’t that quick, I expect some good football and they’ll make a few plays but our OL will hold up overall. Like I’ve been preaching our OL goes against our DL in practice, and our DL is pretty quick in their own right.

He’s kind of right about being undisciplined. Besides Blay, our defense is pretty discipline. Most of our penalties come from our OL presnap. They played 2 games this playoffs pretty disciplined. Ole Miss was just a weird game, the flu, dropped ints.

Im not even gonna entertain his argument about their tackles vs our DEs.

1 more thing… Mark Fletcher. He falls forward and is elite at pass blocking. I’ve seen them bulldoze other RBs on passing downs and stop them short of the 1st on short down runs, they not doing that to Fletcher or Brown.

He’s seeing it right now really well

DUO is NOT just an inside run.....Georgia OL coach literally talking about wanting to run DUO so they can isolate a CB vs a RB.....

GREAT interview with Mesidor, asked really good questions and Mesidor always has good answers. Found it interesting he said Moore is best athlete on team to him.

Best and most notable thing about this interview is not wearing a brace or cast on his arm. I've been very worried that he's a full go for the game but his arm is injured and he won't be able to effectively use his pass rush moves.
