(The) Championship (Game)

This is such an absurd article. Ignore the players and find that our DL is a push with their OL because they have experience? Our OL is a push with their DL because they have good stats? This might be worse than AI slop because at least someone potentially took their time to think this nonsense and didn't ask themselves if they should probe deeper.

It ain’t built to stop ****. It might be designed to neutralize something but it’s built full of a bunch of overachieving G5 players that have to play a perfect to be successful. They do that very well but how perfect can you play when you can’t compensate for your size disadvanatges with speed and precision. Thats the name of the game on Monday. Its jimmies and joes vs Xs and Os on the biggest stage.
Exactly. In what world would Indiana build a defense around stopping an opponent outside of its conference and which it has basically never played before? This was the most asinine comment I think I have ever read.

Our offense is what it is. It's a non-explosive, running offense and seeks to move the chains

Will work just fine when Cristobal goes with 7 OL and it bulldozes the IU DL.

Miami Hurricanes (7 OL)5 Starters + 2 Heavy Reserves~2,320 lbs331 lbs
Indiana Hoosiers (4 DL)Primary Defensive Front~1,100 lbs275 lbs
The Difference+1,220 lbs+56 lbs per man

If the first series we see in the trenches what we all believe will happen it’s going to be a relaxing game.

that’s my mf coach!!

Said this in a post a while back ago. The difference between hiring Mario and practically any other HC is that it's literally Mario's life goal to bring this team back to prominence. Anyone else we hired would have, at the end of the day, basically seen this as a job. His passion and dedication to this program is unmatched.

Another thing that's becoming apparent is his style of football (i.e. physical bro ball) is a great fit for the playoffs.

he is and always has been smarter than he gets credit for. we don't play this style just because he likes it. we play it because he *has known* that this is what gets it done against the big dogs.

I’m curious what our plan is knowing they will very likely stop our screens. Ole Miss was poorly prepared on defense. Indiana will not be. What other wrinkles can we use to exploit weaknesses
