ACC has to win games OOC, have to. Get no credit for scheduling them, which the ACC does more than any conference. Going 7-19 in the games or whatever it wound up being after this weekend, is the exact reason the conference can gain no traction or respect.
True but FSU does have a nice OOC win against the team playing in the SEC championship game

We beat a Florida team two years in a row that beat Texas this year that ended up beating an undefeated TAMU team

GT playing jawja way close… closer than Texas could muster

Do not be surprised if the committee has ND jump OU. ND will then be #8 and outside of our tier (I believe 5-8 and 9-12 are separate tiers). The committee will then say the head to head did not factor in because the teams are in different tiers and not directly compared. And we will be #11. Get ready for that BS.
I agree. But to state the obvious....when our metrics and common opponents are statistically identical within a margin of error, how can we be in different tiers to begin with? Oh wait, I know....bias and error on the part of the committee by initially ranking us 18 and making us fight for what was gifted to ND.

Miami belongs in over Bammer and ND…. But guess what…. Miami ain’t getting in ****. This was a done deal when Miami lost to SMU. It. Is. A. Wrap.

I think we weren’t as close statistically until we pounded Pitt so we’ll see how they respond in the rankings tomorrow

He was god awful on Saturday. That was such a maddening game to watch.

His 2 TDs were on a screen pass that the WR took 45 yards, and a 60 yard TD where LSU literally didn't cover the kid. Total bust, there was no one within 25 yards of the receiver. Kirby Freeman completes that pass 100 times out of 100 for a TD. But before that throw, he was under 60% completions for 7 yards per attempt and 3 picks.
I’m so glad we missed out on him, dude has been wet dog **** since he’s been at Oklahoma

Right. It’s not about right or wrong. The facts are on our side. But this isn’t a court of law. The entity that controls and owns the media rights of the sec and playoffs have significantly more incentive to put their teams in. They will not risk Sanky creating his own post season for Miami or anyone else. It’s not hard to figure out. ESPN has $10 Bs tied up between the SEC and the playoffs. They want to ensure that investment returns
Please, please, please have the SEC create their own postseason. I would love to see the ratings. I wouldn't watch and I'm not sure many outside of the Bible Belt would either if they chose to take their ball and go home.
