Hope we do win 10 and make the ACCCG. The concern I have, and so do many, is the lack of depth at OL, LB and secondary. Plus if Kaaya goes down or Coley we will lose.

CMR will need to recruit extremely well next two classes to eliminate the depth holes Golden and his Staph left behind. It's the reality we face as fans. We want to win now but we don't have a complete team. Out of the gate, FSU, ND and UNC are better teams. Can we win a game, two from the three? Don't know but it will be tough. My hope is we beat UNC for sure and some how pull off an upset against one of the other two.

Push games will be VT, NCST and Pitt. Can see these three games either way. Wins IMO: FAMU, FAU, App St, GT, Duke, and UVA. We split the other 6 finishing 9-3.

Still don't understand how someone can seriously say UNC is a better team than us. Even with Goldie we out recruited them.. The only teams more talented than us are FSU and ND that's it.

You are correct my friend.We have had some great fullbacks here and I have high hopes for Williams.Hopefully he can be devastating lead blocker and maybe get many short yardage conversions that we have struggled with lately.Time will tell.

The defense has been dominant in practice so far (we haven't heard that in a decade), we have great QB play, deep ball threats, best TE duo in CFB, power running game/along with RB's that care great in the passing game, a LOT of talent/difference makers on both sides of the ball and lots of big game experience.

If Colbert has been as good as the soundbites coming out of practice says he has, we are going to be a great shape. And if Maurice Smith comes, it will unlock the entire defense. We'd all of a sudden have great DB depth with 5 seniors back there who can make plays (Elder, Colbert, Carter, Jenkins and Smith), along with capable/talented underclassmen. We'd have a mix of big, physically gifted DBs (Redwine, Colbert, Carter, Smith) to go alongside the ballhawks (Jaquan, Jenkins, Elder)

No one sees this team coming - we are faaaaar under the radar, but I'm telling you right now, we are going to be in the hunt for one of those playoff spots in December. This team can do it. I truly believe this.

You're overlooking the biggest part of the entire defense: Manny Diaz.

Yes, his sound bites are nice. And yes, it's going to be great to run an attacking 4-3 again. But he has a very spotty track record. I'm taking a wait and see approach with him.
