The CMU game probably skews things.
It felt like the refs were out to get us that night.
They threw a flag on Mali for being too good.

Dear Deejays,
14 ACC teams at 67 or worse.
Seems more likely that penalty issues are the refs...
The pre-snap stuff, false starts, etc., needs to get cleaned up, do that an we will improve some, but I don't expect a Mario team to ever rise above top 50 in this department, 50 to 75 is more realistic. He emphasizes killing them with aggression, physicality and talent.
Dear Deejays,
You're right, we suck, and we'll do better. I've called a staff meeting.
PLAYERS NOTIFIED.
XOXOXO,
Santo Mario
SJ just got flagged for another false start...I am with this. The pre-snap stuff is intolerable. While Mario is an aggressive coach, we do not have a lot of penalties of aggression, such as late hits or PI's. And we do a pretty good job of not responding to efforts to goad us into retaliation. Just weird.
Looks like someone is earning a starting porster job...
That’s a crazy coincidence lolGuess which conference has half of the bottom 10.

One of the best things ever posted on this sight. Most people won’t get it.View attachment 378047Dear Deejays,

Or any Miami team from 86-92. Just our DNACheck out the penalties per game for the 2001 team.
our program does not come of as undiscipline ... nobody thinks thatA perennial contradiction: The coach who demands accountability and discipline runs one of the least disciplined teams in college football in terms of penalties...
Totally agree. Anyone who watches other conferences can tell you the ACC has the most flag-happy refs. By far.14 ACC teams at 67 or worse.
