We don’t need a superstar, gunslinger QB to win a championship. All we need is a cerebral game manager. Spend money heavily on both sides of trenches and DBs. That’s where championships are won.

I don't get the obsession with Koi Perich. He had a great freshman year with 5 picks, but we have Fitzgerald returning who had 6 picks while playing part-time. For the amount he is going to cost, I don't think he provides that much of a boost in production. The staff has a strategy and a type of player they want to plug into to spots and play certain roles. Nobody expected Jakobe and Keonte to play like they did when we went after them.

Staff has earned my trust with evals.

We are going to have 11 or 12 DTs on the roster next year. And they don’t play a bunch of guys anyway
