That is the first time I heard anything by Bankroll Fresh. I represented the person who killed him. We won that case on self defense. Bankroll unfortunately started the shoot out. Such a sad waste of life and talent.

I remember. They were tight at one time too right? ****.

Yep. I represented No Plug. They were all cool and had a really stupid argument over next to nothing (so stupid I can’t even remember what it was about). On the day of the shooting, they all ended up at the same recording studio. And the fight started again; just a fist fight at first. But then it spilled outside. My guy and his buddies got into their car. As they were leaving, Bankroll got someone’s automatic weapon and fired the first shot, and then his gun jammed. But once the first shot was fired, all the guns came out. I believe over 60 shots were fired between all the people present.

The saddest part of it all was that Bankroll was hit by a ricochet, and hit in the hip. So no one thought was he critically injured.

That's crazy. I just watched the video of what happened prior to the shootout. The SK he was holding must've jammed. He was toting it prior to the mayhem for sure.

It absolutely jammed after he fired the first shot. Bankroll had never used the SK before that day and didn’t know how to use it. I think he thought just flashing the SK would have an effect. Not on this crowd.

The surveillance cameras at the recording studio didn’t have volume, but you could see from the way everyone reacted, that Bankroll fired the first shot because everyone jumped or ducked. Then you could see Bankroll having a problem with the SK as you saw flashes from all the other guns and shots fired in both directions.

as usual it really was over a girl from my knowledge.

It was more some animosity thing though they were all cool....bankroll got into it with some folks your client was cool with as well....the thing at the studio was sort of the straw that broke the camel situation. Dumb alll the way around as No Plug didnt seem ti be pressing the situation..Bankroll was pressing them....

You probably know the back story even better than me.

And you are definitely hitting nails on the head as to the other people that No Plug was with. No Plug was really one of the more relaxed guys out of the “9”. Rudy and Tweet and some of the other guys were a little quicker back then to get involved when things were going down. And did that night as well after the fact.

Funny thing about all those guys was that I met 21Savage and Lil Baby before anyone (including me) knew who they were. I had to ask 21 what I should call him. I did get him and Lucci to record birthday shout outs to my then 13 year old son. He was the coolest guy in his middle school for a while.
