This x1000!Miami has to learn that DT is the second most important position in college (my view).
You simply don't see teams stink that are elite at DT.
I'd give ten Vance Spafford's for one 5-star home wrecker at DT.
SEC dominance remains on the DL.
Very true these brands Nike and adidas don’t care what schools their kids go to anymore especially not in football.not true
Just last season alone Dylan Harper went to Rutgers a adidas school and played in Nikes all season Hailey van Lith left a adidas school stayed signed with adidas and transferred to two different Nike schoolsVery true these brands Nike and adidas don’t care what schools their kids go to anymore especially not in football.
No DL/LBs could have made last year's secondary look good.Lots of great points made here by fellow Canes. During the UM Championship years the one thing that remained constant was a dominating defensive line and LB's that could run but tackle. The DT is the most important facet besides QB in a Championship team.. Take a look at the Georgia and Alabama runs and it starts with their dominating DL lines and LB play. I'm not sure what the problem is with Mario and the other defensive coaches but they are having a problem recruiting in those two areas. A very talented DL and LB core can make our secondary look very good. I hope things change soon.
I found it lol strong no
Great work here amigo. Seems case in point, need an elite big body dt every class. Stars are great, body type is most important. Ie I have no idea how Jordan Davis from UGA was 3 starAccording to your metrics of the six DT drafted there has been one 5 star, three 4 stars, and two 3 stars.
*Christian Barmore 6-5 290 • 4 star • #16 DT
*Jordan Davis 6-6 330 • 3 star• #29 DT
*Devonte Wyatt 6-3 300 • 4 star • #16 DT
*Travon Walker 6-5 285 • 5 star • #3 DT
*Kris Jenkins 6-4 239 • 3 star • #20 SDE
*Michael Hall Jr 6-3 290 • 4 star #10 DL

3. Josh Horton
6-4 285 • 4 star • #50 DL • 23 Class • Transferred after 2 seasons
4. Justin Scott
6-4 310 • 5 star • #3 DL Miami DT• 24 Class

6. Artavius Jones
6-3 280 • 4 star • #28 DL • 24 Class

Let’s PMTell em to call me my guy. This **** ain't hard...
I thought he was from Fort Myers?I think they know. Of the six five stars they've signed, three are 260+ defensive linemen. DTs are just hard to get.
James Johnson is from New Jersey so there isn't a big hometown advantage. It's a true battle.
I thought he was from Fort Myers?
May I ask how you know that?Adidas has nothing to do with his recruitment
Cooper Flagg signed with New Balance but had to wear Nike’s during Duke games and Duke photo shoots, I think.Just last season alone Dylan Harper went to Rutgers a adidas school and played in Nikes all season Hailey van Lith left a adidas school stayed signed with adidas and transferred to two different Nike schools

Yes, originally from New Jersey.Yes, North Fort Myers High immediately before Northwestern (was at NFM for at least his sophomore and junior seasons).
Maybe he grew up in New Jersey?
Uncommitted TOP LB prospects:
- Atkinson and Griffin are 1 and 2, and are likely to go UGA and Bama.
- Izayiah Williams has committed to like 20 teams and currently committed to Ole Miss. I'm sure if we offered a big bag he'd choose us. But seems that would just be a dumb investment. I'd bet he flips back to UF by end of year when they try to save their recruiting class.
- Tj White is LB5, from mississippi, and likely picking UTenn or a mississippi school (like if Izayah williams fliips from Ole Miss)
- Brayden Rouse is LB7, and is likely picking Utenn or Texas
- Jordan Campbell is LB8 and committed to us. So We already have a top 10 lb and top 150 overall prospect at LB. Only like UGA and maybe UTenn/USC are currently projected to even have two top 15 LBs. And outside the top 15 lbs you're talking not even top 250 prospects anymore and are back to fringe 88-90rated lb prospects....
After those you're back to like:
- Malik Morris, lb13. Currently uncommitted, but from Lakeland..
- Julian Manson, lb15. who is from Iowa and committed to Iowa. But he's also <200lbs so I'm sure there'd be a lot of *****ing
- Jamichael Garrett, who is also undersized and we just had on an OV and seems like we decided to pass on
- Kosi Okpala, lb19. From Texas. Unless Texas wins like the Griffin battle over Bama and/or another Itd be a tough pull, and he's now coming off a UT OV and Committing on July 3rd.
- DQ Forkpa lb25. Seems we are fully in this battle. Probably just a Big3 battle.
- Tamarion Watkins s32 but we've been recruiting as LB.
After those groups which probalby would only even be considered OKay at best by CIS LBgurus, you have the more depth adds like:
- Adam Balogoun-Ali?
- Maybe Taking another look at Karon Maycock currently committed to FSU, but has visited here a bunch, and obviously plays for Central.
- JJ Bush. From alabama, none of the bama schools after him. Currently has only OVed Tulane. But currently predicted LSU.
So I mean unless we go back around to like Henry Ohlinger at LB trying to flip him from Indiana.... Everyone else at LB is mostly locked in aside from the names we keep hearing we're already on. I think we just need to hope we land one of Okpala or Forkpa, or turn to landing Watkins.
Exactly brands don’t push their kids on schools anymore and it’s not like key signed a big deal it’s basically a marketing deal for socials with adidas no life changing money involved he can go to anywhere he wantsCooper Flagg signed with New Balance but had to wear Nike’s during Duke games and Duke photo shoots, I think.
I’m old enough to remember when Anthony Kennedy wasn’t a take immediately coming off his OV. The fact he is now should tell you all you need to know about DT recruiting…
