Composite scores/recruiting rankings are arbitrary.
What matters most is the eval & projection of the fit of the player in your system.
In previous classes, I haven't been as high on most of the evals. Sure a lot of those players were ranked high, but it didn't actually mean anything in terms of applicability to on-field production.
This class however, IMO has much better evals that project better to being productive players who will contribute.
I think a number of prospects in the last few classes probably never take a snap here. Or if they do, it'll be in scrimmage games against our annual FCS opponents. But, either way, there's % amount of Portal candidates in those classes.
This class to me, looks like they'll be playing & contributing a lot quicker than others.
