This is big bone to pick with Mario, he’s supposed to be delivering top 10 classes and 3 out of 4 have been outside the top 10
O yea and we’re meh on field too
man the mario bros are gonna come out full force
when our coach is not an x an os guy
he has to make up for it by outrecruiting his bad coaching and hes nowhere near that
Done pretty well with Sofla guys since he's gotten here, definite step up from previous regimes…Until this year, outside of Jeremiah Smith and there is issues this year with a couple of them wanting to play both sports. With the reclassifications of Flowers and Toney last year, and the fact that Bell just never seemed interested in UM(And reviews are mixed with him), it's honestly not your typical of a top 7 or 8 Tri-County this year…Dopson stings but apparently that number is off the chart for the UNC bag.

Definitely top 5. He's an underachiever as a head coach..so if we want a top 10 team yearly (playoff) he needs top 5 classes.

We were promised top 5 classes. Now it's a struggle just to finish in the top 12.

Cooper, James Johnson, Russell, and Dopson all can be had for right price. That isn’t recruiting that’s shopping. You can argue we should spend the money to get them but don’t call them “recruiting” losses those are auction losses.
Dia Bell choose to play for Sark. Hard to argue with a QB wanting to play for Sark although his work with Arch and before Ewers leave a lot to be desired.

So you think this is good? Goofy goofy ****. 2 fired coaches, 2 coaches on the ultimate of hot seats and there we are the ‘stable’ well funded NIL operation with the coach who dwarfed everyone else with recruiting prowess

Recruiting presses on after a tough weekend in Dallas. Here is the latest on the 2026 and 2027 classes:
- I know Georgia has entered the picture for Blake Stewart (Atlanta, GA), but Miami remains fully engaged. He is a huge priority at safety and the feedback remains very positive.
- I also like the Canes' momentum with DE DeAnthony Lafayette (Orlando, FL). He is built like a big RB (6'1, 230) but he's athletic like a RB, which is why he's been getting carries. He's also a natural pass rusher with big-time sack production.
- The Canes are hosting Penn State decommit DT Isaac Chukwurah (Bear, DE) and Pittsburgh commit DL Logan Nagle (North NJ) this weekend. Nagle has already visited earlier this season. Both players are automatic takes. Their recruitment has nothing to do with the bigger names like Nolan Wilson (Picayune, MS), Dre Quinn (Atlanta, GA), Anthony Jones (Mobile, AL) and Bryce Perry-Wright (Atlanta, GA). Miami remains engaged with all of those names and they are all takes. The Canes want to stack defensive linemen.
- WR Vance Spafford (Orange County, CA) lost his senior season to a foot injury, but he is visiting this weekend and appears locked in with the Canes.
- The Canes are also hosting a bevy of blue-chip 2027 prospects, including a group of talented RBs and EDGEs. This includes the #1 RB in the country for 2027, Kemon Spell (Pittsburgh, PA). A list of key 2027 visitors is below:
