The Baker Mayfield apology......an observation

I can't believe some dude who got tackled by a police officer is going to win the Heisman

Haha. I think that's just a subconscious muscle memory reaction from him. That said, I have no issue with Mayfield. Not saying I wouldn't like to see our front 7 smack him into the next century if we play them (and he talks **** all the way up) but I think he's going to be a good pro. The Manziel comparisons are idiotic.

He's going to be a problem when he gets real money...AKA Manziel

wouldn't draft this guy at all

BE CAREFUL

Yeah that dude can't **** around with showing remorse, he's gotta get those character points up fighting for that draft position.

Every Big 12 QB is buyer beware for the NFL.

Respectfully disagree with you my man.

I think he's a great College QB but I don't think his game translates to the NFL.

I do agree he's a much better passer & has a better arm than Manziel, but I don't see a long time NFL starter.

Baker reminds me of Chase Daniel, very good College QB & was in the perfect system for his skill set, but basically a career backup in the league.

I think Rosen will be the best of the bunch & I actually think Lamar Jackson can be good if he goes to a team that won't rush him to start right away & allows him to develop.

To be honest I think less of him for having publicly apologised twice.

First with the flag planting and now this. Just own your own ****ishness. Stop backing down after the fact.

Those are all fair points. I guess I just see more Russell Wilson in him (body type and playing style) but then again I'm not the best college-to-pro QB analyst. For every Sackenburg that I knew was a bum right away there are 2 Paxton Lynchs or Bryce Pettys that I thought would be stars by now.

Definitely agree with you on Jackson. Rosen is probably right too but I still have minor questions about his head. UCLA being essentially junk during his entire tenure there may have let him fly under the radar pressure-wise. It won't be the same if he goes to a junk franchise where he's expected to be the savior. But his throws definitely most resemble someone playing on Sundays now.
