The reality is that with our culture in place and Mario’s leadership we can handle some personalities. Beck was apparently a castoff guy everyone hated. Comes here and has secret handshakes with freshmen. If this kid maybe isn’t perfect we can fix him. That’s why I was ok with maybe getting raiola

I think he'd be a great pickup and I'm happy to concede that it appears he and his family haven't handled the process great. It's him versus Raiola or Longstreet at this point. I'm fine with any of the 3, but I think Leavitt has the highest upside for next year. Go get him Mario.

1. I believe Leavitt is 16-4 as a starter in his career and he gave TTU their only L this season.

2. He can play football at a high level and is often called the 'best player on the field'.

3. He has the athleticism, arm-talent and feel to overcome coaching from either sideline. Leavitt can 'put the team on his back' while making off-script plays that few QBs can.

4. Mario Cristobal has a history with Marcus Arroyo who has been Leavitt's OC his last 2 seasons at ASU.
