The Athletic: Sam Leavitt possibly to Miami or TTU

I don’t care about his personality as long as he is ready to lead the boys on the field. This is not an NFL franchise looking for a 10-15 year QB. You can save the PR stuff.

Do you guys remember the Cam Ward slander before he got here? Terrible attitude. Terrible leader. Blah, blah, blah. And he was amazing within our culture as soon as he got here.

If Mario feels he’s the best available option to keep the program in contention next season, then that’s good enough for me. Leavitt is a pure playmaker in the air and on the ground. Let’s go.

But just seems a little odd that this guy has taken a bunch of visits and now circling back to Miami.
Maybe we told him to go take his visits but make sure you come back to us before signing anywhere?

Could be Miami was #1 on Leavitt's list, he communicated with them and they asked to get through the Fiesta Bowl. He said cool but in the meantime I am going to checkout the other schools on my list, and visit UM after the game.

Yes, but also Lane poaching Chambliss from Ole Miss if he gets his waiver would guarantee him ******* of the century. Also would be amusing.

Could happen but i thought i saw Chambliss already re-signed with Ole Miss or committed to do so if he got his waiver. It would be tough for me to follow the guy who quit on me in my senior year while in the playoffs.

You saw right. Am saying a pesky thing like a signed contract not gonna be an impedient to Lane - see the Demond Williams rumors. Moot now, NCAA denied waiver

The ward slander. The Beck slander & on going narrative. I just saw a stat on Beck last night, through 3 szns as a starter he has 37 wins. That’s tied 2nd all time from QBs during a 3 years stretch. In company with names like Matt Leinart, McCoy at UT, Kellen Moore & other legends.

ATP, I trust the infrastructure in place & Mario n co read on character. Bring another cat with a chip on his shoulder with something to prove. Embrace it.

True also. But people were ****ting on Beck’s character all of last year and he turned out great
