The Arch hype train is derailing already

Agree & Sark has no clue what to do with him. With their defense playing the way it has, they could easily win and/or compete in every game on their schedule if they just let Arch be a 1 read & run qb. Arch would be better off at a lower level p4 team that would scheme around his deficiencies.

People keep speaking down on Sark b/c God forbid a Manning is criticized. My theory is the Mannings don't want Arch to be a one read and run QB. Has anyone thought of that? Has anyone thought that Sark is coaching Arch in accordance with what the family wants?

His last QB got beat up, too.

Yeah as much as I’d love to be the program to fix a Manning lol I don’t see it for what he would cost.

If we don’t stick with Nickel I would imagine we sign one of these names:
- Simmons if he stays in college
- Malik out of Maryland just don’t know if he’s accurate enough for Dawson
- Kemario if God loves us
JKS out of cal.

Guys I'd like in the portal over Arch are Malik Washington, JKS, Austin Simmons, and Faizon Brandon. I thought Faizon looked as good as Arch when they played against each other a few weeks ago.

they definitely like to get down, just have to protect that image, my recruiting trio to ole miss was a little before camera phones - but for sure could fit in with t he scene down here.
[edit - don’t know how much it’s changed since the late 90s] **** I may not be able to fit in now

Look at all the QBs who were drafted in the NFL who are from Texas and Texas wasn't interested in those guys. Texas is too political with their roster with their QB being the most political position arguably in college football.

I know some guys who worked at LSU under Les Miles who got jobs at Texas under Mack Brown. They told me Texas has a toxic football culture and people around the program say it has been like that before Mack and remains that way.

If any family would, it would be the Manning. but I'd have to imagine after 4 yrs, they'd just want him to find whatever success that works for him specifically instead of trying to force him to be something he's not.

To your point it certainly seems like he'll be drafted high no matter what. So maybe they don't care how he looks in college & just wants him to use this opportunity to grow as a qb, which of course, isn't working.

Ty Simpson & his agent seemingly had a backdoor deal with the rams gm so I wouldn't be surprised, with the Manning's connections, if Arch already has a landing spot in the NFL.

if there’s any program that can get this kid ready for the NFL physically, schematically and mentally, it’s the University of Miami.

I would definitely not be a hard pass on manning. The kid has all the physical tools and Dawson will get the most out of him

Such as? He has an average arm. He's not accurate. Yeah, he's athletic. Poor vision. Poor football IQ. Please enlighten me.

Okay, I know an Op when I see one. The Arch Manning to Miami Psyop has begun.

There's some Behind the Scenes pressure going on to have Mario give Arch a chance with the Hurricanes. I saw it on CBS Sports. Given the spectacular results with Cam, Beck and now Mensah, my guess is that the Word has gone out to try and pressure the Miami brass to get Arch a job with the #Canes, even if he's seen as a Project.

The Mannings are probably awed by what Mario and Dawson were able to do with three QB's in a row and think that Arch can be saved.

Naturally, I smell a rat....

What? And ***** Luke Nickel for a Project?

Nickel can pass rings around Manning.

If we take Manning, there would have to be a Quid Pro Quo with the Mannings and the League Office about Canes being taken in the draft and a guaranteed landing spot for Mensah AND Luke Nickel. None of this Second and Third Round crap that happened to Beck and some of our other players while Taint collected the Lion's Share of the First Round money.

We're the Miami Hurricanes. We have to follow the Michael Corleone principle when it comes to our Players: "Today we took care of all the Family Business." If the Mannings and the League want a deal for Baby Arch, then there have to be guarantees to the University and the Football Program. In Writing.
