The Arch hype train is derailing already

He's had the best coaching in the world and here we are acting like he's some raw kid out of small town Nebraska. I just don't see these huge leaps coming. He is what he is, a flawed player. The #1 pick is ridiculous.
Sark is far from best coaching in the world. Not even best in SEC. That pre college **** doesn't necessarily translate. You still need someone to optimize abilities.

Quoting Bill Walsh," he needs to be accurate". There are plenty of guys who can throw it a country mile 98 MPH.
There is a video of Phil Simms talking about throwing for Coach Walsh....slow it down and focus on accuracy with a smooth delivery...
Next summer during the dog days of summer I highly recommend reading the Bill Walsh book.

Josh Allen is still inaccurate. He'll give you something amazing, and then throw like 4-5 int's in a row...until he can win anything in the post season, he's tony romo.
Fair but if Arch turns into Josh Allen then first overall pick hype is warranted.

Josh Allen isn’t perfect but at minimum the credit he deserves is we know most teams are taking him over their current option which is more than I anticipate to saying about Arch at any point

This MF had FIVE games last year where he completed less than 60% of his passes. Two of those five were under 50% completion percentage.

It was his THIRD season after being the highest rated prospect ever.

I’ve heard it said on podcasts (CiS included) that at some point, development is finished and the player is what they is. How many more years does Arch get before he is what he is?

Dude sucks. Throw this post in my face in two years if I’m wrong.

he's good, just not saying he's anything special...but thats what this league is these days.
Marino, and Elway would put up HUGE numbers in this NFL

Some of those balls are just drops but a lot of them are really difficult catches and a lot of them are balls thrown into high traffic areas.
So either Arch is bad or the receivers are bad. Yet people trying to hype up that WR room and Arch like they are the best in the nation.

Now I'm concerned with your evaluation of Miami players if you think Arch is a stud.

He is Daniel Jones with the Manning last name. He can run well in a straight line, but his footwork and mechanics passing are awful.

Show me his best game against a defense with a pulse. His 2 best are Vandy and Michigan's backups in a bowl game.

He has mastered the screen game, his biggest plays are the receiver catching it behind the los and doing all of the work.

The people who are talking about Arch's mechanics are they same dudes who were sucking the black out of CJ Baileys dyck until it turned white.

His bad mechanics are due to poor o line play and being rushed. He is short arming passes, throwing from the side, and not following through. These are all easily corrected. Dudes on here don't understand this. CIS's QB evals are wrong 98.6% of the time.

Very curious to see what unfolds this season.

Me personally, don’t think Arch has 1st round talent. He gets easily rattled, doesn’t have a strong arm, doesn’t make good decisions in the pocket despite being surrounded by NFL Olineman. Doesn’t mean he can’t take a big himo this season, and I also think Sark is overblown as a play caller and hasn’t done him any favors.

Both (Arch and Sark) have no excuses this season. It’s arguably the most expensive roster in CFB, an electric array of WRs and a stable RB room at his disposal. It’s now or never. Miss the playoffs, and I would move on from both (assuming Arch goes pro regardless).
