The Arch hype train is derailing already

He's Bo Nix. Everyone waiting on him to take that big jump and be what he thought he was supposed to be, and it won't happen until year 5. In his case, probably never happens for him because he won't stick in college long enough. Those jumps don't happen in the NFL if you don't see it through in college.

He played better from Miss St on. It's just that his first half of the season wasn't up to the hype everybody has created. If you took his name away and just looked at him as a QB, you'd say "that's a good college QB who has the potential to be great." But the bull**** hype around him (ever since HS) and Texas has created these unrealistic expectations.

It also doesn't help that Sark has been running his mouth all offseason. Idk why he would want to create more attention to his team going into this year.

Sark has already laid the ground work for Arch coming back next year through things he's said in the media

We have heard the same here with Mensah...
Meh. The difference is that Mensah isn't a 5* recruit from HS that has been anointed by media and fans about the next greatest QB. If Mensah isn't ready for the draft or isn't going to go high enough, that's fine. Arch is supposed to be on an accelerated timeline due to the expectations.

He aint going back to Texas next year. If he doesnt live up to the hype and somehow his draft stock falls his people will turn on Texas and Sark for lack of development.
They'll fire Sark and keep Arch imo. The Mannings have consistent about staying and developing etc. And if Sark gets the axe and they bring in someone better or they believe is better, he would stay. But anything is possible.

I never got the Arch hype. I just don’t think he’s very good. If it wasn’t for his name nobody would know who he is
100% and I always laugh at @DMoney for always continuing to say that he believes in arch and arch played a little better at the end of last year. Lol dude, he was so bad at the beginning of last season that his little better, was just another degree of average. The dude can’t read a defense, he can’t make tight window passes, the only thing he can do is run a little bit, but that’s it. Again, if you paid attention to his high school competition, a lot of people would’ve realized that earlier..

Potential to be very good college QB, especially with vast talent advantage at every position vs most teams. He did look good the back half of the season, can he carry that over to a full season is the question.

Sark is the bigger concern IMO

Good on the back half, I’d say more average on the back half. It
Maybe looked good to people’s eyes because the first half was so god-awful bad! From what I’ve seen, take the name off the back of his jersey, and he’s just a JAG.

Present day expectations of fans and media project both to be top picks in the draft.

His performance in the second half of the season has been severely overhyped. Here is his QB rating for each game the second half of the season last year:

@ Kentucky - 85.51
@ Miss St - 143.39
Vandy- 189.29
@ UGA- 114.85
Arkansas- 212.92
Texas A&M-111.50
Michigan (bowl)-135.78

Guy had a 61.4% completion percentage on the season playing with Texas’ talent.

At some point this becomes a Sark problem.

For a guy that is a supposed offensive genius, they haven’t had some elite offense that teams fear. And that’s been true across QBs.
I think arch is *** but elite OCs can still make something out of nothing. It’s also like Texas lacks for high end HS or portal talent

Sark fails to make the playoffs I think he gets ran off
