The All Carolina Conference Continues...

When I went to Charlotte last year for the game I had a great time every where but at the game but since we are going to the next ten acccg I would like to have a chance to visit somewhere else

Do other conferences have these complaints about their championship games (Atlanta for SEC, Indianapolis for the Big 10, Santa Clara for the Pac 12, and Dallas for the Big 12)?

On a positive note, probably never have to worry about Duke or UNC having a virtual home game in the ACCCG!

The SEC gets to play in Atlanta’s state of the art stadium while the ACC plays in that dump Panthers stadium in Charlotte...

Massive ******* L

Outside Atlanta, Tampa or Miami no other spot really suitable for the title game. We all know Carolina is the ACC,

Jacksonville would be great and will be way better in the next 5-10 years. Orlando works well too. DC would be a good spot every few years if they put a roof on the new Redskins stadium. The point is, there is absolutely no reason to lock up Charlotte every year for the next 12 years. Is there some other conference beating down Charlotte’s door? This reeks of cronyism.

Not sure what OP is complaining about, just look at all the all conference players Miami consistently gets recognized for....wait wut???

If you look at the overall attendance for the ACCCG, it has been significantly higher when played in Charlotte than Jacksonville, Tampa or Orlando but the teams playing in the game factor into attendance numbers too.

Nobody showed up to see Clemson vs VT in Orlando a few years ago even though it turned out to be a good game. They also struggled selling tickets to the two games in Tampa but that was also because the ACC was pretty crappy in 2008 and 2009 and the participants were not highly ranked contenders.

Getting into that stadium was miserable. And my seats sucked. And we were outnumber 4 to 1 by the khaki and orange gingham wearing mafia. And we got killed. Would like to see it held elsewhere.

You're exactly right. Attendence at the game is about the matchup, not where the game is played, which affects competitive balance and also enjoyability for the fans. Had this year's game had been Clemson vs. Pitt, attendance would have been poor again. But guess what, the game is going to get way more asses in the seats for Miami-FSU in Orlando or Jacksonville than it would in Charlotte. All the poor Orlando attendance numbers prove is that Clemp$on fans are too smelly to be allowed aboard commercial aircraft. Those people ***** that Orlando is too far away for them to travel and say that Charlotte is "in the center of the ACC", but they could give two ***** about how convenient it is for the rest of the conference to get there. I'll say it again, that airport ******* blows donkeys.

I hate F$U, but I honestly will enjoy the day that the natural order is restored and it's Miami-FSU for the 'ship every year and Clem$on is relegated back where they belong. Could take a while though, the Atlantic is looking weak af right now.

They should get with the times and lay down some artificial turf.
