A man before your time you are.

and the first two rounds of play are 0800 and 2000 kickoffs on the same day, say 1 Jan

Benefits:
- Players get late lunch to rest and heal up between games
- 1 Jan allows them to spend time with family early evening of New Year Holiday before game time

Like task masters who run CF, I'm thinking of what is best for scholar-athletes here.

Did I miss anything?

You're nailing it.

No final exams on New Year's Day, so this is TRULY a student-athlete-friendly initiative. The NCAA is really fulfilling its mission...

If we went 14-0, won the ACC, and beat UGA who is 29-1 in their last 30 games and 2 time defending champs in the orange bowl, no soul on earth is telling me we don’t deserve a share of the title

If you flip flop Bama and FSU Bama still goes, that’s the issue. On Acc PM they read the committees bylaws or whatever and it said the best team then a paragraph down it says “ most deserving””. They literally **** on the regular season and chose two brands over the team / conference that did everything. Once you let Bama in you’ve opened Pandora’s box. Why did UGA go from 1 to 6? lol. None of this makes sense. Like real life the elites got taken care of and have different rules.

Doubt it had legs, but saw someone mention that after Sunday, a good amount of ACC members (including Miami) called the Big 12
 
Honestly this is how I expect 12 team playoff to go next year - 4 B10, 4 SEC, 2 ACC, 1 B12, 1 G5. It's a little better once ACC dies and we have Big10, SEC and then a large B12. If that happens you got 4 of B10/SEC, 2 B12, 2G5 or next best 2

Top 2 SEC programs get bye. Top 2 BIG10 programs get bye.

Round 1:
3rd SEC vs 1st At-Large (likely 2nd ACC)
3rd B10 vs 2nd At-Large (likely best G5)
4th SEC vs 1 ACC
4th B10 vs 1 B12

Round 2:
South: 1st SEC vs winner 4th B10/1st B12
[BGCOLOR=initial]North: 1st B10 vs winner 4th SEC/1st ACC[/BGCOLOR]
South: 2nd SEC vs winner 3rd B10/At Large
North: 2nd B10 vs winner 3rd SEC/At Large

Semi Final:
Winners of two South bracket games
Winners of two North Brackets games

If it’s about the four best teams please tell me Georgia isn’t one of The four ? It’s Bs. Like I said “ Pandora’s box “. Once you take facts out of this and start talking eyeball tests and opinions you’ve lost your way.

I’d like to add the 68-team CFP championship game should be played the day before March madness basketball starts.
